Gatley’s Pet Shop in Storrington is currently looking for a friendly and outgoing Part Time Sales Assistant to join our amazing team!

This position is based at our Storrington Pet Shop in Mill Lane, Storrington (near Waitrose).

In the first instance, please send your cv to Robin Duke at [email protected] with a cover letter to introduce yourself and why you would suit this role.

Full training will be provided, but any previous retail experience would be preferred.

The role will include but is not limited to;

-General duties relating to serving customers in our store.
-Helping customers select the right products and offering advice.
-Tidying up the store/stock room.
-Answering telephone enquiries.
-Maintaining our high levels of customer service and care.
-Some merchandising, stock management and helping to unload deliveries and restocking.
-Making all our customers feel welcome - especially the four-legged visitors we love to see too (pets and animals are welcome in all of our stores).

2 days per week (working days to be agreed on) which may including some Saturdays on a rota, or to cover holidays/absences.

Our usual opening hours for this store are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm and Saturdays 8.30am – 2pm
