Today we had one runner which was Vendant at Plumpton Races. Who ran very well finishing 4th in the 3m 217 y Handicap Hurdle. I see him as a chaser in the making but hopefully he will win us a hurdle race or two.

We had two runners today at Fontwell Park Racecourse , which were Constant Friday who had not raced for three years.
Our second runner in the same race was Vendant.
I was pleased with Constant Fridays effort, he travelled & jumped well but the ground was quite saturated after persistent rain. Therefore he understandably got tired after the third last hurdle & Niall Houlihan pulled him up after two out. We would expect the race to have brought him on for next time.

Vendant ran his best race to date in finishing 2nd only beaten a neck. He also travelled well & jumped extremely well for Tabitha Worsley & she reported he should win a hurdle race somewhere before he starts his chasing career.

On the way home from Leicester Racecourse with Kicks & Ale & Endersen .
Endersen unfortunately didn’t like the ground so didn’t run particularly well . But I was delighted with Kicks & Ale, he was having only his second hurdle race & he finished a very credible 4th . He jumped very well & we were all very happy with him.

It was great to have Niall Houlihan in this morning to school a few of my jumpers . Here is a slow mo video of Niall schooling Mister Murchan . All horses jumped well .

It was great to have Darren O'Dwyer Dpodwyer Bloodstock in this morning to ride out as he was in the area . Darren reminded me that he hasn’t ridden out here for about 15 years, when he was a young jockey. Darren purchased a 4 year old for two of my owners back in May , it was nice for him to sit on Court One in a piece of work. He was very pleased with him , as was I . Darren is a hardworking man , I think he’s making a very good job in his relatively new career as a bloodstock agent . And I wish him the very best of luck. ☘️
