We preach about this a lot!

This is why we use balls on ropes or oversized tennis or scoobie doo balls.
We only use standard sized tennis balls and small scoobie doo balls for pups or small breeds.

🧡🐾 Well done to those at the neutrality session today- sorry no pics or videos as I was too busy to do any. 🙈 Great work from all, especially Solomon and his handler who just needed a few tweaks with handling technique.

🧡🐾 A great 1:1 with Daphne and her handler too, looking at reactivity and handling. Looking forward to seeing them at the next neutrality session putting all we went through today into practice! 👌

Still waiting to hear back from some indoor / undercover venues before I can release the next block of classes for the following:

🐾 UK sniffer Dogs Bronze Scent Detection
🐾 Scent Detection continuation classes
🐾 Puppy classes

Roll on next year when we have our own indoor venue! 👌

1:1 training, neutrality, and field hire will continue to take place at the field throughout Autumn.

🧡 Such a great few days on the training front...

🐾 Friday saw our scent detection teams smashing their novel environment searches- (Pics & vids to follow!) 📷🎬

🐾 Saturday morning saw our puppy class having fun and learning those all important foundations. As they approach their final week of a six week course, they are doing brilliantly! Their recall was amazing!!! 😍👌

🐾 We then continued the fun on Saturday with another one of our fabulous neutrality sessions. All dogs and handlers are working so hard and more importantly we all have fun doing it! A great relaxed atmosphere, talking all things dogs and training!

🐾 Some super training for our own don dogs too!

🧡🐾 When Mabel came to play...

The prettiest little pupster we ever did see 😍... but don't be fooled, she's not afraid to get her paws dirty! 😆

Mabel had so much fun at Kinver K9 Club and took it all in her stride! 😊 She was a superstar in the van, bounced around the field- exploring every nook and cranny and loved meeting some of the other doggos. 🐶

We can't wait to spend more time with her and see all the adventures she gets up to- I suspect there may be some muddy puddles involved! 😆 🧡🐾

🤩 When little Fergus came to play....

The most loveable little Irish Terrier with a BIG personality! 💙

We're having an absolute blast with this little fella and can't wait to spend more time with him. 😊

Fergus attends our Kinver K9 club and our Puppy Training Classes, so we get to put all that training into practice when he comes to club! 😊 He's even attended his first neutrality session! 👌

He's a little superstar! ⭐

🧡🐾 Apologies for the radio silence... we have been super busy since we returned to work after our week off.

It has been so lovely to welcome dogs back to Kinver K9 Club along with some new faces! 😍

It wasn't long before they spotted the new toys in the summer house and the 'A' frame in the training field. Nothing goes unnoticed by the Kinver K9 clubbers! 🧐

Looking forward to lots of autumnal adventures with them all. 🍂🍁🍂
