Not only is recall training fun, it's also really important for our dog's safety that they get it right. Which is why I teach it in every training class! 👩🏽🏫🐾

Here's some easy tips that you can use right now to super charge your dogs' recall! ⚡️
✅️What really, and I mean reeeeally motivates your dog? Find their favourite food or toy and save it for use during recall practice only! For Koda here, he'll go lightspeed for dehydrated chicken hearts!
Once they know that the really good stuff is on offer when they hear that recall cue, they'll love running back to you!
✅️Practice recall with your dog on a long lead when in environments that offer temptation and distractions. I like biothane long leads because they don't soak up the rain or mud, and are softer on the hands. The long lead lets them have the freedom of movement whilst you are still able to stop them from disappearing into the distance!
Once that recall is charged up, we can phase out the lead!
