We give priority to feral and elderly cats as few rescue organisations are interested in spending time and money rehabilitating these poor animals for a new life.
A tiny little mum and her 4 kittens who were living in the engine of a car, all trapped today and brought to safety.
Sincere thanks to the kind lady who brought them to our attention. They are now safe. I have actually never seen such a tiny mum, no more than a kitten herself. Thanks Andrea for trapping and getting them safe.
Update on some of our poorly dogs.
Noddy: Noddy has now been castrated and has had a scale and polish and 4 teeth removed. He will need another dental to remove another 8-9 rotten teeth however got too cold under general anaesthetic so had to end his surgery early.
Colin: He has now had his heart scan and unfortunately has mitral valve disease. He is now on medication to help stabilise him and make him comfortable.
Ginger: She has now had her BOAS surgery and is recovering well.
Mitsy: Now named Misfit to suit her personality! She is currently undergoing surgery to remove both of her eyes due to severe glaucoma. She is a friendly happy girl and will be looking for a foster home!
Clive: Has now had his entropian surgery and is recovering well.
Nelson: He has now had some scans and they think he has Irritable Bowel Disease. He is starting a steroid trial however still remains poorly.
Unfortunately we still have a few surgeries to go including our lovely Draco who needs entropian surgery on all 4 eyelids and continued tests for Nelson.

**Lady**
Age: 18 months
Breed: shepherd cross
Gender: Female

Lady is a beautiful shepherd cross. Lady was found running riot around Henley. Unfortunately her owners could no longer meet her needs so the signed her over to us.
She is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.
Lady is a sweet and gentle girl. She can be a little nervous of people on an initial hello but soon becomes the bouncy, happy, confident dog she is.
She absolutely loves people and loves to play. She adores other dogs. Lady is an absolute love bug who just wants someone to love her as much as she loves them.
Lady does need some training and whilst she is doing very well she does need some additional training on walking to heel and recall.
Lady is a bit of an escape artist and is a very good fence jumper. For this reason she will need to be kept on a long line in the garden as she can clear a 6ft fence. Lady loves being in the garden and playing with her humans and isn't bothered by being on a long line.
Lady is such a super sweet girl she could live with sensible children over 10. She could live with other dogs but would like a cat free home.
She has so much love to give. She would like an active home where she is part of the family and not left alone all day. She is into everything and anything and is always up for an adventure!
Could you offer this sweet girl a loving home?
Mumma Puss and Dave are 2 of the 50 cats caught down at Felixstowe Dock. Mumma has had endless litters of kittens and was a real challenge to catch. I am sure Dave had a lot to do with her many litters as he was trapped on the same patch. Mumma was finally trapped with the help of one of the lorry drivers on the docks. He fed her every night and she used to run toward his lorry as soon as he appeared. They are now in the region of 6 years old, both neutered and tested negative for FIV and Felv.
This was all happening during covid, so these 2 have been with us for some while and then endured the floods.
They are very confident in the cattery but still evasive, of human touch. Progress is good and a home environment would certainly help them along. If you have a safe room for them to settle into and lots of time and patience do give us a call.
** KIMMY AND BESS **
Our Kimmy and Bess aka Miss Moody need to find a new home. Kimmy is an older boy of 13 yrs according to his chip and Miss Moody is I would think a few years younger. She is still very frightened and desperately needs a quiet place to call home. Kimmy is very confident, so we are loathe to split them even though their needs are quite different.
A foster home is a possibility with these too as they need somewhere they can progress, so our cattery is not ideal.
** FLISS **
Little Fliss is a sweet lady of approx 2 years old. She has been spayed and blood tested and is very ready for a new home. She came to us from a local vet where she had been taken in as a stray.
Although initially very evasive, she is now our resident trip hazard. She is behaving very well with the other cats and could I am sure live with a quiet natured dog.
** SCRUFFY aka EDWARD **
Scruffy is neutered male of approx 6 yrs old. Sadly he is FIV positive so needs an indoor home. He has spruced himself up nicely so has been renamed Edward. He has an old scarred eye, but nothing untoward was found when examined by our vets, so no treatment has been necessary.
He is hand shy, but extremely calm and would not take long to make friends.
Edward could certainly live with another FIV cat as he has little interest in the others around him and certainly is not a fighter.
Can you offer this boy a cosy spot on your sofa.
** DOTTY **
Meet Little Dottie a young ex feral girl. Dottie is one of a litter whose mum was the victim of a RTA , we did manage to find some of the kittens that had found themselves orphaned but little Dottie didn't reappear until after the floods. Although a shy little girl she is growing in confidence and would benefit from another young cat to show her the ropes. She has been spayed and chipped and is now approximately 1 year old, but still a dinky girl.
** NED **
This handsome boy is Ned a neutered male of 7 years old. He came in as a stray but had a chip so we were able to contact his owner. It appears he had not been home for some time and they had since moved to a new home. Ned is initially shy but shows no aggression. He would love a new home, possibly with another resident cat, but no small children. He would love some home comforts.
**BOB**
Age: 8 years
Breed: Collie cross Shepherd
Gender: Male
Can live with children: 12+ who understand he doesn't want to play all day.
Can live with dogs: Yes
Can live with cats: No
Bob is a handsome Collie cross Shepherd. He is 8 years old and ended up in the pound after being abandoned. We knew we had to get him out so along he came to us. He is vaccinated, neutered, flead, wormed ect.
Bob is a sweet fella who absolutely loves his toys. His favourite thing to do is carry is toys around and take them to his bed. He is a gentle boy who loves attention and some fuss.
Bob can be a little reactive to cars when on walks particularly if they drive particularly fast however settles as soon as the car has gone past.
Bob has previously lived with another dog and would happily live with a dog again, although this isn't a must. He would like a cat free home.
Bob could live with children 12+ however whilst he loves attention and fuss they must understand he also likes to sleep and wants to be left alone when he is asleep.

Tommy is a handsome little terrier mix. Tommy wound up in the pound and we knew when his time ran out we had to save him. Tommy is roughly 3 years old but with little to no history he could be a year older or younger. Tommy is neutered, chipped, vaccinated, flead and wormed ect.
Tommy is a sweet boy who is finding life a little stressful. He is an anxious boy until he gets to know you. Once he trusts you he is the most loving cuddly boy!
Tommy gets a lot of confidence from other dogs and therefore must live with another dog. Due to how nervous he is Tommy would like a child free home. He could live with a dog savvy cat if introduced slowly.
Tommy knows some basic commands but still has a lot to learn. He is such a sweet dinky little boy who so desperately wants to be loved.

She is exceptionally playful and loves her toys! Hannah can be very strong on the lead and rather bouncy so is looking for a home with children 14+ who are used to big bouncy dogs! She could live with male dogs of her size and up but would like a cat free home.
Hannah is such a special girl who is super friendly and just loves everyone. She does lack some manners and loves to jump up at people but this can be worked on as she is super clever.

Noa is a very special girl. Noa came to the UK from Romania via another rescue in June 2023. The rescue could no longer meet her needs so Noa was handed over to us.
Noa is 18 months old and travelled to the UK in June 2023 and has spent most of that time in kennels due to an inappropriate home placement.
Noa has now been assessed by us and is ready to find her forever home.
Noa is nervous of people to begin with and takes a while to trust, however treats are always a way to her heart!!! Once she trust you she is the cuddliest most loving dog.
Noa is very intelligent and has learnt lots of tricks and knows all her basic training and more. She thrived in scent work classes and loved doing basic agility. She loves to be active and go for long walks.
Noa is very scared of men and takes a very long time to trust them. Because of this she is looking for either a female only home or a home with a female and a male who will take things very very slowly.
She will need multiple visits to the centre to as she will need to trust new owners before she goes home.
Noa is looking for a home that is active and wants to take her for lots of walks and keep her brain busy. She could live with other dogs and cats. She is also very good around livestock.

VET FUNDING PLEA!!!
As many of you know we have moved into our new larger premises. As we moved we heard the plea of many dogs in the pound on death row and knew it was our job to save them.
Unfortunately with little known histories many of these dogs have come to us very poorly and we are drowning in ever growing vet fees. We are urgently reaching out to try and raise some much needed money to help us cover these fees as we firmly believe in no dogs get left behind.
Ginger our little french bulldog is booked in for BOAS surgery. This poor girls face is so flat she can barley breathe.
Dear little Noddy is an old boy who is in desperate need of a dental as most of his teeth are rotten and causing him pain.
Mr Clive another death row dog needs entropian surgery to fix his eyes. Something common with his breed however something that is incredibly painful.
Poor Colin had a grade 5 heart murmur and needs further scans to determine the severity of this.
Little Mitsy has severe glaucoma at such a young age. Due to the pressure behind her eyes she will need to have both of her eyes removed to stop the unimaginable pain she is in.
Draco also needs entropian surgery for his right eye as his eyelashes are scratching his eye making it incredibly uncomfortable.
And finally poor Nelson needs further investigation into ongoing tummy problems.

Bullseye does have a damaged eye from a pat injury. It does not cause him any pain or problems however it has limited his vision in that eye.
Bullseye could live with a laid back indoor only female cat but would like a dog and child free home. He is fiv positive and therefore must be a strictly indoor only cat.
