Terms and Conditions
All cakes made by Beth's Bumble Bakes are subject to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, before transferring money, as you are confirming that you have read and understood the following:
-Deposits and Payments-
All bookings require a deposit to be paid. The deposit amount will be discussed between Beth's Bumble Bakes and the customer. This depos
it is payable by cash or bank transfer and the details for this will be given once the booking had been confirmed. If the chosen option is bank transfer please supply a reference with this, which will be Specified i.e Unicorn cake, or wedding cake and date. Once the amount agreed and final cake details made, then the non refundable deposit must be paid within 24 hours. otherwise this date will not be confirmed and can become available again. Deposits are non-refundable/ non- transferable. Unfortunately I cannot place an order in my diary without a deposit. The full/remaining balance is required upon collection/delivery of celebration cakes and no later than 14 days prior to the event for any wedding cakes.
***GDPR POLICY***
As of the 25th May 2018, the new GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into place, which means all businesses have to comply by it. Beth's Bumble Bakes do not run any marketing campaigns and will not give out any customer information. Each and every customer has the right to ask about there data and how it is being used. All personal information and order forms held by Beth's Bumble Bakes are locked away and kept in line with the HMRC 7 year rule. Once this time has passed they are shredded and disposed of.
-Cancellations-
Please be aware that if you wish to cancel your order, your deposit is non-refundable. In the very unlikely event of Beth's Bumble Bakes having to cancel an order, as much notice as possible will be given and Payments that have been made will be refunded as soon as possible. If you wish to change your design/flavour, Beth will be more than happy to do so with at least 2 weeks notice. If Beth has already started preparation before this time, additional costs will apply to cover this. If you wish to change the date of collection or delivery, this can always be discussed and a mutual agreement must be made. Beth's Bumble Bakes will be only too happy to provide a breakdown of the quote if this is required.
-Publication and Advertising-
Beth will always use photos of cakes made to promote the buisness. If you have informed me in advance not to enclose certain guest, this must be done in writing. You are more than welcome to use these pictures too.
-Returns and Damages-
If you are not satisfied with the design of your cake, please inform Beth when your order is collected/delivered. If you are wanting to return your order, please contact Beth ASAP stating the issue. Any remaining cake will need returning in order for Beth's Bumble Bakes to conduct an investigation into the issue. You must have informed Beth and the cake returned within 24 hours of receiving your order. If the order is damaged before or during delivery, all efforts will be made to fix the damage. Beth's Bumble Bakes are not responsible/liable for any damage caused to the cake after delievery/collection. If any work is required to repair a cake that is damaged through no fault of Beth's Bumble Bakes, this will incur a fee. No refunds are given if a cake is not returned.
-Looking after your cake-
Please store your cake in the box that your order was delieverd in. Please store your cake at room temperature (unless stated otherwise). Do not put your cake in the fridge, in direct sunlight or anywhere hot, and keep away from pets. Any edges of your cake, once cut needs to be wrapped or placed in a sealed container to help preserve freshness. If you wish to collect your cake, please ensure that a clean empty boot, or footwell of your car is provided. Never place the cake on the seat or on the lap of a passenger as this can cause damage to the cake in transit.
-Ingredients-
All of Beth's Bumble Bakes ingredients are of the highest quality. All fruit cakes contain nuts, or traces of nuts. Sponge, flavoured and chocolate cakes, are made to be eaten within a week of the celebration. The cakes are made on premises in which nuts are sometimes used. All efforts are taken to ensure ingredients are kept seperate, however cakes may contain traces of nuts.
-Shelf life of a cake-
Fruit cake will last well for a good few months, if stored correctly in a sealed container. Carrot, sponge and chocolate cake will keep for about a week after collection/delivery.
-Allergies-
Beth's Bumble Bakes try hard to cater for everyone's needs, but it cannot always be 100% guaranteed that the kitchen is allergen free, due to the ingredients used. Please can you discuss any allergies when booking your cake.
