We are your local, family owned Natural Pet Emporium. All the food and treats we stock have been expertly selected to ensure they are natural and species appropriate for your dogs and cats (and a little range for other small furries!) The accessories and toys are high quality and all tested on our own pets. We won’t sell anything designed to cause fear or pain. We welcome dogs in the shop and encourage them to bring their owners in to browse!

Today is 8 years since we first opened in our original location, we have now been in Old Newton longer than we were at Stonham Barns. To celebrate our birthday we will be giving out free hot drinks from our Rijo machine. Franklin will be busy putting away deliveries from The Dogs Butcher, Dougies and Hear Me Raw and Jessy will be putting the stock on the website!

Franklin is wondering if size matters? If it does we have pizzles in 12cm, 24cm and 48cm sizes for your dog to choose (chews?) from! The 48cm are new in and are £6.50. They are not odourless though!

2025 delivery schedule, this along with T&Cs for deliveries can be found here https://doodledales.co.uk/pages/local-delivery-routes-calendar. I have started putting full boxes (Southcliffe and DAF) on the website which can be ordered for delivery or collection. We do also deliver nationally by Royal Mail tracked24. We only charge what it costs us to send, we reuse polyboxes and the cardboard boxes around them for our deliveries because it saves costs and also reduces waste. For our own deliveries we reuse the polystyrene boxes as much as we can so can collect the empties with the following order. We have increased our delivery area to include Kings Lynn on every other Wednesday. Other deliveries are generally on a Thursday.

For those that didn’t guess, we are proud to announce we have been chosen to work with the.muzzle.movement as a stockist of their fabulous muzzles. We will be able to do fittings in store or privately in the grooming room. To ensure the space is available drop us a message or give us a call.

New Raw Brand! We introduce to you Nutriwolds. Superb quality and ethically sourced. They do a range of 80/10/10 prey model and a range of FEDIEF balanced complete meals. Both ranges come in 500g and 1kg resealable and reusable plastic tubs. Varieties include the usual chicken, turkey, lamb, beef and more unusual such as Salmon, Rabbit (skinned) and trout.
We have more exciting news on the way next week, for those who are good at hints, we will be welcoming amongst others Tolly, Harry and Taz!

Happy New Year everybody. Here are the other pictures from the Christmas post, including Eddie in his party hat! There is also a picture of the new Nutriment Nuggets which are a great option for small dogs. We are back to normal hours tomorrow, stock levels are pretty good. Nutriment came in yesterday, DAF is due Friday and more things next week.

Busy week with stock coming in and we’ve all had the winter lurgy! Benyfit, Cotswold, Nutriment, Natural Instinct, Betsy’s, Paleo Ridge are all well stocked. Totally Natural, The Dogs Butcher and Southcliffe are all on order for delivery next week. This is a picture of our holiday opening hours. We won’t be delivering Christmas week so please keep this in mind and order before Tuesday if you will need some.

There is still time to be in with the chance of winning one of our fabulous prizes in the magpieperformers pet owners raffle. Prizes for dogs and cats. Top prize for each is worth at least £150. If you want to support but are not bothered about winning prizes then buy some tickets for Suffolk Animal Rescue to give them chances to win (we did this last year and the animals got some great Christmas presents) you can buy tickets online on our website. Tickets are £1 each, you have to be in it to win it. Raffle is being drawn Saturday at 4pm

We have a new member of the Doodledales family. This is Arthur, he is a Wire Fox Terrier. He will be co,ing in to the shop when Jenny and Brian are there. (Some people got to meet him yesterday) he is full of beans and loves everyone!

We love these new Summit Sign leads. Not only do they carry useful messages but they are comfy to hold and have good quality locking clips and a traffic handle built in. We think they would pair well with one of our hoodies. You can have the design on a different colour if you prefer! (We can do all sorts of other designs too) the leads are £25 and the hoodies are £20. The halo lights are also new, they have different colour options all in one light and are usb rechargeable. (£16 for those)

It’s a sad weekend for the Doodledales crew as we have had to say goodbye to Jasper the Airedale (the dale part of the business name) he wasn’t that well known in person as by our own admission he could be a k**b sometimes (we took him to work once - he couldn’t deal with all the people coming and going, wasn’t particularly welcoming!) He was a lovely lad who gave Jenny and Brian lots of love and companionship. Rest well JJ

The time has come again for our Magpie Performers Christmas raffle. 2 top prize of hampers with at least £150 each (one aimed at dog owners and one for the cats) we also have (in no particular order) 5kg of Nutriment raw dog food, 1mx0.75m piece of original VetBed, treat hampers, enrichment toys and more. Tickets are just £1 each and are available in the shop, on the website or via Magpie members.

The deliveries from the trade show are coming in thick and fast. We have Botanica creams, Lickimats, treats and chews from JR and Nova, and a little bit of Christmas in this box mountain. We have also had DAF, Cotswold and Naked Dog in to refill the freezers. There are some new products lurking in here somewhere I will post about them at some point!

Local, independent family run specialist pet shop, located in the heart of Suffolk. We are based within the Stonham Barns complex which means there is plenty of free parking and other things to see when you visit us. We also offer a delivery service across the whole of Suffolk and into the edges of surrounding counties.

We provide a range of healthy and species appropriate food for dogs and cats and accessories for happy healthy lives. We have one of the widest ranges of raw food in the area including The Dogs Butcher, Vince the Vet, Paleo Ridge, Nutriment, Benyfit Natural, Keizebrink, Cotswold Raw, Naturaw, Henley Raw, The Easy Raw Dog Food co, Purrform and Landywoods. Our range includes complete meals and DIY raw items.

Jessy has a diploma in Canine and Feline nutrition and is happy to give advice and feeding plans. We have already helped many people make the change to raw feeding. We aim to work within your budget and any dietary requirements to find the best solution for you and your pet.
