Busy week with stock coming in and we’ve all had the winter lurgy! Benyfit, Cotswold, Nutriment, Natural Instinct, Betsy’s, Paleo Ridge are all well stocked. Totally Natural, The Dogs Butcher and Southcliffe are all on order for delivery next week. This is a picture of our holiday opening hours. We won’t be delivering Christmas week so please keep this in mind and order before Tuesday if you will need some.

There is still time to be in with the chance of winning one of our fabulous prizes in the magpieperformers pet owners raffle. Prizes for dogs and cats. Top prize for each is worth at least £150. If you want to support but are not bothered about winning prizes then buy some tickets for Suffolk Animal Rescue to give them chances to win (we did this last year and the animals got some great Christmas presents) you can buy tickets online on our website. Tickets are £1 each, you have to be in it to win it. Raffle is being drawn Saturday at 4pm

We have a new member of the Doodledales family. This is Arthur, he is a Wire Fox Terrier. He will be co,ing in to the shop when Jenny and Brian are there. (Some people got to meet him yesterday) he is full of beans and loves everyone!

We love these new Summit Sign leads. Not only do they carry useful messages but they are comfy to hold and have good quality locking clips and a traffic handle built in. We think they would pair well with one of our hoodies. You can have the design on a different colour if you prefer! (We can do all sorts of other designs too) the leads are £25 and the hoodies are £20. The halo lights are also new, they have different colour options all in one light and are usb rechargeable. (£16 for those)

It’s a sad weekend for the Doodledales crew as we have had to say goodbye to Jasper the Airedale (the dale part of the business name) he wasn’t that well known in person as by our own admission he could be a k**b sometimes (we took him to work once - he couldn’t deal with all the people coming and going, wasn’t particularly welcoming!) He was a lovely lad who gave Jenny and Brian lots of love and companionship. Rest well JJ

The time has come again for our Magpie Performers Christmas raffle. 2 top prize of hampers with at least £150 each (one aimed at dog owners and one for the cats) we also have (in no particular order) 5kg of Nutriment raw dog food, 1mx0.75m piece of original VetBed, treat hampers, enrichment toys and more. Tickets are just £1 each and are available in the shop, on the website or via Magpie members.

The deliveries from the trade show are coming in thick and fast. We have Botanica creams, Lickimats, treats and chews from JR and Nova, and a little bit of Christmas in this box mountain. We have also had DAF, Cotswold and Naked Dog in to refill the freezers. There are some new products lurking in here somewhere I will post about them at some point!

After a great day at suffolkdogday we have been getting the shop stock back in place and aiming to have a move around whilst doing so. This has made way for a display of Halloween dog toys which will be joined by festive ones quite soon. We have rejigged the harness wall too, we will probably be moving these again in the future so they are not so close to the walk in freezer as we know some dogs are frightened by the noises it makes when it starts up.
We’ve had deliveries in this week from The Dogs Butcher, Nutriment, Alpha Spirit, Literally, Naked Dog and DAF (I’ve also probably forgotten something!)

Naturaw, Nutriment and DAF have been restocked. Southcliffe is due in next week, we are hoping for Wednesday but no promises at the moment.
Starting to get everything sorted for Suffolk Dog Day, we look forward to seeing you there.

Who doesn’t love a pretty collar! We have ordered in these ready for suffolkdogday (Sunday 8th September) where we have a super size trade pitch. We will have all sorts of treats and accessories including these collars, Perfect Fit, Ruffwear and NonStop harnesses (which we will have plenty of space for fittings) and also our WordArt hoodies and tshirts. We are really looking forward to it!

Dibo Totally Natural is back in stock including on the website. Remember we have over 25 different brand of raw marketed for dogs and 8 for cats so loads to choose from! There is still time to do the ProDog ditch the dry selfie to be in with a chance to win some of their products. Loads of teams and accessories to choose from too.

We had a visit yesterday from the inspirational vet Tom Lonsdale. Here he is signing copies of his books which will be in our reading area once it’s sorted and after we have read and digested them. A great advocate for feeding raw meaty bones for all round health and also highlighting the issues with ultra processed foods.
We have a section on our online shop for DIY raw feeders so be sure to check it out.

Important! There is going to be a planned power cut to our building on the morning of FRIDAY 16th August. We will therefore be opening at 2pm so that all the freezers keep happy (and we won’t be able to open the shutter til the power is back) keep an eye on here in case anything changes.

I wasn’t really expecting this but look, we are finalists in another national award! Super pleased with the recognition, now we just have to wait until the end of September to know how we did.
On a different note Jenny is off at the moment as her good knee is no longer as good! Jessy and Franklin will be doing their best to keep on top of everything but some of our own deliveries may be at different times or shipped out by local courier, and things may be just not quite as usual!

We are based within the Stonham Barns complex which means there is plenty of free parking and other things to see when you visit us. We also offer a delivery service across the whole of Suffolk and into the edges of surrounding counties.

We provide a range of healthy and species appropriate food for dogs and cats and accessories for happy healthy lives. We have one of the widest ranges of raw food in the area including The Dogs Butcher, Vince the Vet, Paleo Ridge, Nutriment, Benyfit Natural, Keizebrink, Cotswold Raw, Naturaw, Henley Raw, The Easy Raw Dog Food co, Purrform and Landywoods. Our range includes complete meals and DIY raw items.

Jessy has a diploma in Canine and Feline nutrition and is happy to give advice and feeding plans. We have already helped many people make the change to raw feeding. We aim to work within your budget and any dietary requirements to find the best solution for you and your pet.
