***Spaces Available in Portpatrick***
I have recently had 2 x spaces become available on my mid day/lunchtime group walk in Portpatrick. I run these walks Monday - Thursday for 45 minutes each day.

Young, black, male Labrador, found on Gallowhill Rise running loose. Entire but no chip. Very friendly and well looked after. Handed into Police Station. Please share in case anyone is missing him ###

Once again Olivia has been helping out at Salty Paws during her summer holidays! She is a super star with all the doggies and loves them all just as much as I do 🥰
Olivia had her exam results on Tuesday and passed all them all with flying colours! 🥳 we are very proud of her! Thank you for all your hard work Livvy 😘😃 ###

The last walk of the day for Finn and Charlie! These two win the prize for the most excitable greeting when I go to pick them up! 🤣🤣 Charlie is completely blind so wears a halti for his own protection, and mine!! He is a bulldozer with no fear, but a complete softie ❤️ Finn likes to 'sing' songs all the way round his walks! 🤣 🐾🐾🐾

Today's groups have been loving the sunshine again!!! Suzy enjoyed a lie down in the stream to cool off 🤣 and Millie and Tasha had a nice dip in the sea! Parker, Jack, Viper and Bonnie had a ball racing around the airfield...with a few nibbles on sheep p**p 🤢 another lovely day in the sunshine 🌞🐾🌞🐾

So my daughter Olivia joined Salty Paws for almost all of her summer holidays! Up early every weekday (voluntarily!!) to join me for all the walkies with your lovely dogs. She has worked so so hard, and never ever moaned. She has been a total star and has taken such good care of all your doggos!! She really has a knack for it and I can't wait to have her back again soon ❤️🐾🐾🐾 Thank You Olivia ###x

A wee note to all clients during this unusually hot period....

As we are all aware, walking your doggies in this heat comes with alot of risks, so I have taken a few extra steps to make sure none of your furries come to any harm.

* walks will be judged by myself on the day, taking into account the temperature at the time and your breed of dog.

* walks may be shortened slightly, or dogs may have more on lead time to restrict any major daftness with their pals. Some of them have no idea when they've done too much 🤣

* walks will take place near water sources to allow water play or in a shaded area where possible

* if your dog is a breed that is susceptible to over heating or you would rather your dog stay home, then I will offer a drop in service to pop in and see them, let them out for the toilet and spend a bit of time with them.

* all dogs are offered water in van after walks

* certain walks may be cancelled altogether if I do not feel I am able to keep your dog safe and I will contact you accordingly 😁

As we are all too aware, this situation will be very short lived and normal service (rain/wind/cold) will mostly likely resume next week 🤣 until then, your dogs are in safe hands ❤️ 🐾🐾🐾
