•LOGAN BOTANIC GARDEN•
Just a quick drive from the chalets, Logan Botanic Garden boasts a treasure trove of tropical plants from Australia, New Zealand, South and Central America and Southern Africa.

We took a jaunt around the walled garden and it’s inhabiting Victorian styled conservatory. It was a feast for all the senses!

There is an on site bistro together with a gift shop at the main reception- a little something for everyone.

•STRANRAER •
Located 10 miles north of the chalets, Stranraer is the closest town for your retail needs. It includes craft bakers, butchers and cafe’s along with retail chains to boot. There is also a choice of three large supermarkets to suit all.

Take a drive around the beautiful coastline as is it only a further 10 minute commute to Cairnryan port, just incase you fancied a trip to the Emerald Isle! ☘️

•PORTPATRICK•
One of our favourite neighbouring towns, Portpatrick is just a 20 minute drive from the chalets. It includes a beautiful bay surrounded by pastel coloured houses full to the brim with character.
There is a fantastic array of pubs, restaurants and quaint shops to attract far and wide, perfect for an afternoon out 🚗 ☀️

•MISS RAINBOW• 🌈
Last week we welcomed the return of Miss Rainbow and her esteemed owners to the chalets. The classic Morris Minor has been fully restored with red leather soft top, wicker basket boot and even a sporran attached to the front grill!

•CHALET 1•
The last but by no means least, our last chalet has also received a taste of tartan. A natural hue of creams and browns for a softer tone to mimic the countryside. We hope you like the changes made and can’t wait to welcome our guests over the coming months.

Our second to last chalet has received an ode to tartan. This turned out lovely together with the stove, wingback chairs followed by the majestic stag on the wall 🦌

Continuing with our updates, chalet 3 has received a country-esque theme complete with an electric stove, beautiful wall art then framed by a brighter hue of cream walls. Perfect for those cosy nights ahead.....

Continuing with our decor update is chalet 4. We have gone for a sapphire feature wall along with tonal furniture and stripe curtains. We will continue to post our last three country inspired chalets this week.........

•DECOR UPDATE• CHALET 6

Newly painted walls, soft furnishings and a little attention to detail has improved this chalet immensely.
The bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom have received small updates but all in aid to make our guests stay that little bit more cosy.
Some more improvements to follow after the busy season ahead but this is one of our favourites 👌
