In literal terms, a rosette is an achievement based award 🥇🥈🥉 but it’s so much more than that. It’s woven into the fabric of competition and is deeply valued by competitors at every level.

A rosette holds great value and reminds us why we strive. Everyone remembers 💭 their first rosette, it marks a moment in time with lifelong memories and we believe that a well-made rosette deserves appreciation as the lasting keepsake that it is, often cherished by recipients for years to come.

Multi-medalled Paralympian Sir Lee Pearson told ‘Country Life’ in an interview that he keeps all his championship rosettes in a ‘3ft by 2ft, gold-edged frame’. However, one that means almost as much is a far less flamboyant frilly, collected when he was just 15 years old with a mare called ‘Tacky’. 🐎

These steps include:

🌳 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Our rosettes feature components such as recycled polyester ribbons and FSC-certified card. We are committed to not only sustainable sourcing now but also to implementing new bio ribbons as they become available in the future.

📦 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: We aim for 100% recyclable packaging, utilising cardboard, LDPE 4 rosette bags, and paper-based materials.

🚗 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲: All our staff live within 10 miles of our site, reducing commute-related emissions. While manufacturing limits work-from-home opportunities, we encourage it whenever practical!

💡 𝗘𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: We’ve upgraded to LED lighting and conduct regular energy reviews to optimise our usage. Our electricity is sourced 100% from renewable energy.

♻️ 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: We maximise recycling and reuse materials in our packaging. We are transitioning to sustainable office products and supporting credible UK-based carbon neutral schemes.

We're proud to say we're anything but new to this game! Darlow Rosettes 🏵️ is a second-generation company with over 30 years history of making premium rosettes. 🥇 Eric Darlow started this business from the kitchen table at home, after retiring from a previous career. He had a keen interest in dog showing and was well known within the Beagle world. 🐾 Horses also featured in our family household with Arab
racing 🐎 and breeding being of particular interest.

As the demand for our high-quality products grew, we quickly outgrew the kitchen table, moving into the garage and eventually several bedrooms! 🤭 Realising the need for more space, we relocated to our current premises on the Alscot estate in the heart of rural Warwickshire. 🌳

Today, Darlow Rosettes 🏵️ is the market leader in premium, digitally printed rosettes, sashes, and prize cards that have been awarded around the world. Our rosettes are skilfully crafted from 100% recycled ♻️ ribbons and responsibly sourced 🤝 materials, by our hardworking and loyal team, whom we deeply value and support. 🫶
