Area 7 Pony Club Eventing Qualifier and Open Unaffiliated Event inc Qualifier for the Horse Events National Eventing Championships opens on 14th July 2024. This West Midlands based horse event will take place at Moreton Morrell College, Moreton Morrell Ln, Warwick, CV35 9BL.

While we smile about the fond memories for our liveries and their achievements this weekend, we are all saddened with the loss of another event rider, Georgie Campbell, and the young local lad fighting for his life after a terrible accident near Napton Show. It makes you realise just how precious life is and how quickly things can change. Our thoughts are with the families. Stay safe everyone ❤️

A busy weekend at Whitfield with everyone out and about with their horses. Riders in the 100, 80, and 70 at Princethorpe 2de, riders enjoying their horses at the Young Farmers fun ride, and show jumping at Onley Grounds..plus those at home working hard with riding and cleaning the mud monsters!

We are, of course, most excited about the new mugs for the coffee room though

Lovely to see everyone this morning for pony club training. A huge and unexpected deluge of yet more rain left our arena unexpectedly soggy, but the sun did actually came out for Fran Penn for the first of the pony club dressage training sessions. Super riding from everyone, and I know some of these ponies aren’t easy to ride! 💪💪

Sammy and Jasmine had a wonderful competition day at The Warwickshire Hunt Branch of the Pony Club Tri/Bi. Despite running a little behind schedule we managed to catch up on the run phase and finished nearly on time.

2nd place for both children and team 1sts too 🤩❤️❤️

Work is underway for the WHPC friendly Tri/Bi and just jumping this Sunday.

Unrestricted and Mini classes will be in the big grass arena near the trailer parking.

Beanie and Tadpole jumping will take place in the mini XC arena (pictured below).

Just jump classes will be in the big arena - at the moment these are likely to run after the Tri and Bi have finished.

We will be issuing site maps via email to all entries.

Jasmine had such a super time on the hack track tonight. And the sunshine made for such lovely videos I couldn’t help myself….so I made a vid 😂🙈

Anyway - Hack Track (with a few jumps thrown in) open from 9am to 8pm! Book in online £15pp

You can book up to 5 per hour online - if you want to bring a bigger group just let me know and I can sort a discount out for you.

Sunday 9th July.

We have 3 fun open clear round classes at 60/70/80.

These classes are open to all and are just a fun way to get out and jump somethig a little bit different.

The arena will be a mix of SJ and arena style jump for joy XC fences along with a Tetrathlon style halt box, a slip rail, and a good old fashion gate (that you have to open go through and shut and not jump!)

Hack Track bookings are now open.

Slots are available from Sunday 9am. In the mean time we will be popping some of the jumps
around the woods and tracks ready for visitors! Annoyingly we have to wait a day for the rain to soak in as we had that much the ground is a bit soft for the tractors to move the fences 😂🙈

To top off a weekend of grid and dressage clinics we hosted a Pony Club Area 7 Tetrathlon Training day today. Run, Shoot,
and Ride…we had athletes from Beanies up to Juniors working hard on all of their disciplines, coming from many pony clubs in the region.

Well done everyone that came and for fighting through the horrible bank holiday market traffic. A a big thank you to our shoot trainer Trevor Haynes, run trainer Liz Brown, ride trainer Richard Wakeham who gave every competitor some useful homework. Thanks to Janet Wakeham for providing lunches and snacks for the children, and the organisers behind the scenes sorting out entries, times and just making it happen!
