Cattery Assistant Required (Immediate start) 9hrs.
We are a 5 Star Luxury Cattery situated in a rural location 1.5 miles outside East Kilbride. A car will be essential for commuting. We are looking for an extra pair of hands to join our current team of five. As a result of a recent closure of a local cattery we have inherited many new clients hence the requirement for a further team member.
We are offering 9 hours per week split into three days consisting of three hourly shifts. (We run a two-shift patter 9.30am -12.30pm or 2.30-5.30pm) Over seven days.
A four-week rota is posted in advance. These hours are guaranteed during the summer months but may reduce over the quieter winter period as such applicants must be flexible.
The ideal person must be, over 25yrs for insurance purposes, confident, fit as manual work is involved (deep cleaning of guest’s rooms), flexible with working hours, a team player and most of all a lover of cats. Some IT skills required, customer facing and loads of common sense required. Experience would be preferred but not essential. Excellent hourly rate. Full training will be given.
What you’ll be doing
Operational running of the cattery.
Opening and closing of premises.
Check in and out.
Receiving payments.
Give routine care for the cats including cleaning, feeding, grooming.
Following all health and safety measures and procedures.
On occasion administering medication.
Complete handover logs.
Administration of bookings.
You require to have:
Ability to follow procedures unsupervised (essential).
Experience of owning or working with cats.
Ability to work shifts hours as previously mentioned.

We have just had a last minute cancellation tonight , sorry for the short notice but we just found out by sheer chance when we called the client to arrange a drop off time, we were told " I dont want the booking now !!!!!! " Some poor cat has missed out on its holidays here.

Own transport would be required as we are situated in a rural location just outside East Kilbride. A degree of duties will be manual. For Insurance and Sole Working purposes applicants require to be over 25 years.
Currently we are looking for 2 – 3 days a week including weekend cover.
Working hours are between 9.30 – 12.30 pm or 2.30pm 5pm, dependant on business needs
Our working rotas are posted 4 weeks in advance, and we are flexible should personal commitments clash. Competitive salary offered.

You would require to have your own transport, as we are situated in a rural location, be physically fit, as a degree of duties will be manual. For Insurance and Sole Working purposes applicants need to be over 25 years of age.
Currently we are looking for 2 – 3 days a week including weekend cover, the hours we require covered are 9.30 – 12.30 pm or 2.30pm - 5pm , dependant on business needs per day.

The ideal person would be a mature or retired person , confident, physically fit as manual work involved ( Deep cleaning of exiting guests rooms ), flexible with working hours, a team player and most of all, a lover of cats. Some IT skills required, customer facing and loads of common sense required . Excellent hourly rate.
What you’ll be doing

Opening and closing, reception, made ready to welcome cats and customers
Checking in and checking out our arriving and departing guests
Receiving payments
Giving routine care for the cats including cleaning, feeding and grooming
Following all health and safety measures and procedures
On occasions medications are administered in the prescribed quantity at the specified intervals
Complete handover logs
Administration of bookings.

You’ll have should have :
Ability to follow procedures unsupervised (essential)
Experience with cats or have cats.
Experience of working with the general public
Sound literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to work shifts hours as previously mentioned.
