🎆🐾 Help Keep Animals Safe During Fireworks 🐾🎆

Animals have extremely sensitive hearing, and the loud bangs and whistles from fireworks can cause them distress. Fireworks can be scary for pets and wildlife, but there are ways to help them feel safe!

Now is the best time to make sure your pet's microchip details are up to date, so should the worst happen and they are spooked you can be reunited.

For Dogs: Choose a quiet room where they can feel comfortable, and fill it with their favourite toys and chews like stuffed Kongs. Putting on calm music will drown out the background noise of those loud and scary fireworks!

For cats: Provide hiding spots and let them stay there until they're ready. Keep them indoors to avoid stress. Calm music will also help our feline friends!

For small animals: Partly cover outdoor pens, provide cozy bedding, and consider bringing them indoors.

For horses: Plan ahead, talk to event organizers, and follow advice from the British Horse Society (BHS).
