We would like to wish you and your doggos a Very Happy New Year.

Reflecting on our year at Woofy’s….
*We had the wettest few months on record to start 2024 with flooding and a very soggy field.
*Spring arrived and Woofy’s dried out well.
*We added some new reels, tyres and pallets for the dogs to sniff and enjoy.
*We changed our booking system to introduce a buffer inbetween walks, to create a more effective way to ensure your time in the field is not disturbed.
*We dredged the ditches and added tonnes of gravel to our entrance/carpark
*This Autumn brought more flooding due to overflow from the river Brue, and a few storms to contend with.
*Woofys recovered so well though and was able to reopen quickly without too much disruption.

What a year!

Thankyou to all our customers old and new for your valued support. An extra shout out to those of you who stuck with us through the wettest of times.

We work incredibly hard to make Woofy’s the best it can be, and it really makes it all worthwhile to know how much you and your doggos enjoy your time at the field.

Thankyou for all your support over the past year! We’ve had a few tricky periods with the endless rain and then the storms. But thanks for hanging in there with us!

One of our lovely regulars, Michelle, and her amazing pooch, Zeukie, have just completed the 30 mile CaniCross in Cornwall!

They won first place in female CaniCross category to complete the trail! 🥇 🥳

Congratulations to Michelle and Zeukie! What an achievement! 🥳😍🏆

Canicross is a sport where a dog and human run together in a team. In canicross, the dog runs in front and the runner guides him/her from behind using verbal cues. It is also possible to run with your dog next to you.

We have now have 20 minute walks available Monday-Friday to book on our website

This will be for a trial period to see how the 20 min walks go and will be depending on:-

1. People keeping to time and ensure field is
empty during the 10 minute buffer.
2. People picking up after their dogs.

The results are in-

78% voted for both 20 mins & 50 min walks
22% voted to just keep the 50 min walks

So….we have decided that we will trial offering 20 min walks.

It will take us a little while to get this set up, so we will keep you posted and let you know once they have gone live on our booking system.

We will only be offering the shorter 20 min walks Monday to Friday and will monitor to see how they go. We want to ensure that people are keeping to allotted time slots and that the field is empty during 10 min buffer to ensure the next customer is not affected.
