This is important. It's why we only do pet sitting in your homes (which we know isn't for everyone). Your pets get to stay in their own home and we focus on just them for the pet sit. Plus we have way too many dogs of our own to even contemplate wanting a boarding license at the moment haha. It is also why our daycare options are limited to joining us on groups walks and adventure days etc rather than traditional daycare facilities. We take them out and about. Or have our longer 2 hour slots with collection and drop off to break up their day. We aren't trying to be awkward we just aren't licensed. At least not yet. It is a plan for the future ๐
It isn't just this you should ask questions on either. You should check insurance. DBS if they are in your home. What qualifications do they hold for walking and behaviour? What experience do they have? Are their methods backed by science and force free?
When choosing anyone for care, walking or behaviour it is super important to be thorough and remember someone charging less money or with no waiting list probably speak volumes. Choose the best for your dog ๐ถ๐พ
