Hello! Sorry I've been a bit quiet! I've been trying to get my health under control and I've been doing some research into XL Bullies!

Whilst I'm still not available for regular dog walking I am available for one off and occasional work. Be that as a dog walk or as pet minding.

I can still do pet sitting/feeding in your home.

However, the biggest update I'd like to inform you of is this..
🎉🎉 I am now legally covered and insured to include your beautiful XL Bullies!!! 🎉🎉

There is a.list of criteria that must be met in order for me to work with them however providing you meet that/can provide the information I am covered to walk them, mind them in their own house, have them out and about for the day.

Criteria that needs to be met is as follows..and proof is required before I can work with them:
* The dog is registered on the index of exempted dogs
*You the owner, have public liability insurance for the dog
*The dog is neutered and microchipped in accordance with the government
*The dog has a muzzle and lead

I can only walk your dog on its own
I cannot take your dog off the lead or remove it's muzzle unless on secure private property.

As with ANY ANIMAL if I do not feel I can safely control your dog or do not feel safe around the dog I reserve the right to decline the job.

Meet Dylan and Maggie! I had the pleasure of looking after these beautys while their dad was busy signing books for you lovely lot!

We had lots of fun at the beach and in the woods and I don't know about them but I'm sure going to sleep well tonight 😅😅😅

🛑🚨 important updates 🚨🛑

Firstly, I am unavailable on the following dates
24th April
30th April, 1st and 2nd may

Secondly, and most importantly!
I am unfortunately taking a step back from the dog walking side of the business.
I have loved walking your dogs for the past 2 years and I will be sad to stop seeing my regulars 😭 but recent events mean I have to think of my health and unfortunately this means having to take a step back at this time.

I will still keep the business open for pet sitting, pet feeding and emergencies so.please don't hesitate to get in touch of you need.

My final dog walk will be May 30th

I want to thank each and every one of you for the support and loyalty you have shown me and for trusting me with your pooches. I've loved it, I really have and maybe one day I'll come back to it.

So, after many tears, tantrums and headaches...I think we have found a solution that means I can keep the jobcentre happy and still keep some of you on.

Unfortunately I do need to increase my hours at fernvalley to keep the jobcentre off my back, so this will unfortunately have a knock on effect for a couple of you but I am trying to keep the amount of you that I have to stop walking to a minimum and some of you may have a shift in time and/or day

The good news though is that I will be able to remain open and for that I'm grateful 🥰

I will be in touch with those of you that will be affected over the next week or 2 as I work out exactly what I can do and what my new schedule will look like.

I appreciate your understanding and patience during this period of uncertainty and upheaval xx

It's with a heavy heart I have to say that I do not know what the future holds for Waggy Tails and Happy Trails.

Unfortunately the job centre don't deem it a 'real job' and are enforcing stricter restrictions on what I must do.
The fact that I run this business and work at fernvalley isn't enough.

I have made no definite decisions as of yet, but I don't realistically see a way to jump through their hoops and keep the business running as it currently is.

As such I feel it only fair to give you all a heads up and also say that as of right now I am not taking on any more dogs for regular dog walking as I do not know if it is a commitment I can keep at present.

I understand if you feel you need to seek another dog walker to ensure your pooches are cared for, I just ask that you keep me informed if you are.

This breaks my heart but rest assured I will look into every option before making any permanent decisions

Hopefully you have all had a lovely festive period!

I now know when I'm being summoned south so January will look like this:

WC 8th January operating as normal
WC 15th January unavailable
WC 22nd January unavailable
WC 29th January we are back to regular programming!

I apologise for the inconvenience and upheaval but I unfortunately have very little say in the matter as I'm being summoned south to give evidence in court.

I do appreciate your understanding and look forward to getting January over with 😅

Just a reminder my days for dog walking are Mondays Weds and Thursdays.
