Its taken me a while to let this news sink in..
I am truly devastated at the new ban on XL Bully's. Sadly the easiest thing to do is blame the dog as usual. If you own one of these breeds lots of trainers out there are providing discounts to support with lead walking and muzzle training take advantage of it.

If you don't own one of these dogs I urge you not to be tricked into believing these dogs are bad. I plead with you not to avoid walking past one that once was allowed to run free and play but now is muzzled and on lead. Speak to the owners -the isolation from not being able to socialise on walks is horrible.

The dog isn't bad and yet again the government are failing to give the full details. There are so many dog attacks every year... including from your beloved family friendly dogs and small dogs. Don't be fooled. No attack is acceptable but 100% of the time it's the human failing to give the dog adequate training or protection from a situation.

To anyone that owns one of these breeds I'm so sorry your going through this. 💔

Just a quick message to let you that due to a change in my circumstances (getting rid of the kids!) I have more availability for regular grooming clients available including evening and weekend appointments 😲 quick, they don't stay for long!

Apologies for the radio silence again!
I am so busy setting up my new biz, but still grooming dog walking and being a mum as well... what can I say I love a challenge!!

I am SO bad at keeping on top of my page, I'm running another little project on the side Hallie's Home of crafts and trying to focus a lot of my attention on getting that up and running properly and trying to keep on top of my partners business admin AND organising the kids 😅 yep busy mum life.
Any way... from January I will have space to take on more clients during the week on a Tuesday and Thursday. So please do get in touch to get booked in. 😊

Even reactive dogs need walking 🥰
'I NEED SPACE' ........
If you see a dog with a yellow vest/collar/bandana etc they could be part of the campaign.
Respect that they need space, it doesn't matter if your dog is friendly put it on a lead and give the other dog distance...
Maybe there ill, maybe their old, maybe their aggressive, maybe their nervous...
Allowing your dog to approach or walking too close could undo months of training for that dog, please be respectful.

Another hot week ahead! Keep your dogs cool if you can.
Remember it's OK to miss a few walks.
Or if you can take them super early in the morning before the heat takes hold.

It was still 25degrees at 7pm last night 🥵

If your pup does show signs of heat stroke lay them on a cool wet towel and use cool water on their paws. Seek advice from your vet.

Don't put anything on top of them, while it may seem like a good idea to put a cold wet towel on top of them- their body heat will just heat up the water and trap it, therefore making them hotter.

Always make sure there's water available and try and keep them in the shade.

Some dogs (like mine) might need some encouragement to do the right thing and come inside 🙄

Cannot belive I'm still seeing dogs being walked with temperatures climbing.

This heat will pass. Your dog will not die if they miss a couple of walks.
They can and may die if you choose to walk them!

My suggestion... put on a fur coat, and bare feet and walk the pavements. 🤦‍♀️
