What happens in the hot weather??? ☀️

We avoid the hottest parts of the day.
We head to shady places with streams.
We head for low ground where possible.
We take a steady pace with lots of sniffing stops.
We minimise time on tarmac and regularly check that it’s not too hot.
We maximise access to drinking water.

As the heat rises....
Walks may not be done at all and pop in services will be advised as an alternative.
Early morning/late evening walks will be made available.
We will work closely with owners to ensure safety of their dogs.

We are supporting the Chalford Hill School Scarecrow Trail with our very own Chalford Paw Patrol Scarecrow.
Walk the trail and visit her and her scarecrow friends dotted around our beautiful villages.

Happy International Women’s Day from the two women here at Chalford Paw Patrol, to all of the fabulous women who have supported us to get our business up and running!! 🐾

So what happens on our group walks??
🏡 We pick your dog up from your house.
🚗 Occasionally we have a tiny car trip to pick friends up (Car safety highly important to us). THIS IS NOT PART OF THE HOUR WALK.
🐕 We start and finish by working on walking nicely on the lead.
🌳 We have off the lead running around playtime with our friends. (If recall is trusted, or long line if we are working towards this).
4️⃣ Two to four dogs.
🥰We aim to match dogs up with those of similar temperaments.
📷 We take photographs and send them to human parents who like an update.
💩 We pick up all poos!
💤 Then dogs get dropped back home for a snooze.

We ❤️ animals as a whole family! Half term has enabled the children to get involved, lots of the cats and dogs have had extra love this week! 🐾❤️

A successful morning doing some traffic work with our own pup who has an innate desire to round up cars 🤦‍♀️ He’s been supported by our bomb proof old boy who learned to overcome similar issues as a pup 🐾❤️ Followed by some off lead playtime 🎾
