Breeding/ rattery announcement.
Our current litter will soon be ready to leave to their forever homes, apologies to all of those on the waiting list who couldn’t get babies this time, we have had real troubles when trying to breed this year.
In total we have paired ten females to different studs, some studs from rising phoenix rattery and others from sister ratteries, of all those pairings we have had two successful litters this year. During this time we have had about three applicants a week asking to join our waiting list, we simply cannot meet demand and some people have been waiting for a year or so, for this we apologise, however we can’t control who gives birth and how many babies that they have. We only breed a few times a year, focussing on rat welfare over anything else, giving our rats the best set up, diet, medical treatment and affection that they need, however we have still really struggled this year to get results.
As a result we have come to the following decision.
We are taking a break from breeding until the new year, we need time to find a new line and to start again, as the topaz line has come to an end due to running out of time to breed our females, we do not breed them past the age of 1 to 1 1/2 years old, making our does too old now, meaning we must source a new line.
Over the past two years we have been working in a mentorship with milky sunflower rattery, who successfully had a beautiful, bouncy litter last month, all of those on our waiting list can be passed to them for their next litter if they wish, their rats are healthy, happy and beautiful, with our support and methods used within the rattery, they hope to breed again this year ❤️
If you have any questions please feel free to drop us a message, we won’t be accepting any further applicants at this time, however those on the list will still be given priority with this rattery or milky sunflower rattery when the next litter arrives. ♥️❤️🐀

Sending a huge thank you to all our supporters who have visited the Rattery and picked up their babies in the last few weeks.
I ended up in hospital again last week, a simple surgical procedure that went wrong and almost killed me. Messages of support and these lovely flowers were sent by so many of you and I just wanted to say thank you for being awesome people, for helping me to follow my passion, support my rats and to keep fighting!
