🐾 Remember our Amnesty 🐾

We are offering a free parasite prescription health check amnesty! Book a free vet consultation for your cat or dog and get a year's worth of parasite treatment allocated and ready for you to purchase when needed, without a further vet health check.

No catch, just the need to follow the new rule to avoid losing our license. Your pet will be weighed and given a health check to ensure the right treatment is prescribed. If your pet is ill, please book a separate medical check-up.

This offer will run from Monday 10th June 2024 to Friday 28th June 2024. This is a one off amnesty, to better protect our pets!

Remember, non-prescription parasite treatments are usually much less effective so not good value for money!

🐾Summer is here, and so are the pesky parasites!🐾

We have been inundated with requests, but as you may remember from our previous campaigns, due to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons deciding to implement their new rule in January, any prescription only veterinary medicine (POM-V) needs to be specifically prescribed to each pet at the time of seeing him or her! This is usually done annually during health checks or other vet visits, but what if you're not due for a check-up yet? No worries!

Important Update: Microchipping for Cats

As of 12th June 2024 it will become mandatory to have your cat microchipped!

Shockingly, an estimated 2.8 million cats in the UK are currently without a microchip. Without this vital identification, it becomes incredibly challenging to reunite lost, stolen, injured, or deceased cats with their owners. Don't risk losing your furry friend! Make sure they are microchipped. 🐾

Meet Bobby 🐱!

When he first came to us with a big swelling on his face, we knew something had to be done. After a series of procedures, Bobby was diagnosed with Nasal Lymphoma. 🏥 With dedicated care and guidance from Cave Veterinary Specialists, Bobby underwent specialized treatment at our surgery over a 6 month period. 🌟 Today, he's not just a patient; he's an absolute champ who has shown remarkable progress! He has now completed the course of treatment and looks fabulous once again! 🙌

Today was filled with festive cheer as we welcomed adorable Christmas puppies for their very first vaccinations and microchips! 🐾🎄 Our wonderful nurse Susie couldn't resist and immediately showered them with warm Christmas cuddles.
