What a wet muddy week this was, Well it is only February, another 2 new cats to look after so that was lovely and my usual companions on my walks.

Weather has been up and down this week but my companions don’t seem to worry, popping in on Vita and Bubbles and walks with Tilly, Jasper, Buster, Molly, my eldest Bella only small leaded walks now after her op and her friend Sparkie enjoying a play indoors.x

Well it’s been a cold, rainy, Windy and now sunny, warmer kinda week. Cutting down on the walks but plenty of feeding and pop ins and a sit this week so busy. All cats and dogs happy and contented🥰😻🐾.x

Lovely week of walks, sits and pop ins.
Weather has been up and down as well but nothing deters this lot, even managed to nearly finish another pet portrait. Now having an anxious wait to see how my eldest dog got on with her operation today, nearly 14 so much worrying was done 🥺

Someone once said when you love someone with Dementia you lose them more and more everyday. When they are diagnosed, when they go through different stages, when they need treatment and when they die. This is called "Ambigua Loss."
I wouldn’t wish Dementia on anyone. As the brain slowly dies, it changes physically and eventually forgets who their loved ones are. They can end up lying in bed not moving and not eating or drinking.
There will be people who will scroll by this post because Dementia has not touched them. They may not know what it's like to have a loved one who battled or is fighting Dementia.

So a cold week but lovely walking weather especially when the sun is out, my companions for the week were all rearing to go. Down to just a few dogs a day now, hoping the knees will now start recovering, but I’m doing plenty of drop ins and feeds for those who prefer to stay in the warmth.

Well it’s been a hard couple of weeks with me having to give up three dogs and two dogs passing💔. You get so attached to these animals and when you have to stop walking them or they pass it’s heartbreaking.💔 I’ve now finished for 12 days only with the odd cat feeds going on but the New year is full of hope with me concentrating on my pop ins, feeds and sits so I still get to be around many different animals. I will also be concentrating on my New Adventure, animal portraits, I have 13 in the New Year to do so a good start. These are just a few of the dogs walked this last couple of weeks and a new kitten as well.♥️🐾

So it was my last day walking yesterday with Rudi and Louie and I’m really gonna miss these two so much. Both great characters, friendly and such fun to be with. Had Louie since a pup and Rudi for the last year or so. Another two I need to give up due to health reasons,🥺. I’m devastated by the news I have to cut down on my walking as it’s the best job ever and I’ve had some great walking companions and had some fantastic clients who have become good friends. I will miss them dearly but will stay in touch, ♥️🐾

So it’s nice to be back to full time work again after 5 days in bed with sickness and a week of generally feeling rubbish. So photos of the last few days walking, pop ins, feeds and sitting.x

Nice chilly, sunny start to the day. So cat feeding with the adorable Albie, pop in to break up Basils day for a wee and playtime then it was walks with Molly, Jasper, Sparkie and Bella, Rudi and Louie, then Tilly, long day but all cats and dogs happy…🥰

I would just like to let people know that from December 20th I will be stopping most of my dog walking on the advisement of Dr’s. As you can imagine this has absolutely devastated me as I love my work and don’t class it as a job. If I carry on I will have to have both knees replaced within the year and that is something I don’t want to have to go through. I am still doing the odd couple of dogs but have had to give up on some of my best friends which I am so sad about. I will still carry on with the pop ins and cat feeds and the of day and overnight sits so I don’t have to totally give up on something I adore. 🥺

A real busy week this week with walks, pop ins, day sits and cat feeds, even manage to get some more sketches started as I now have 12 more commissions to do and two new dogs starting with walks, so lovely to be back with Louie after 5 weeks off as well, we are taking it easy after his op.x
