Let me introduce myself my name is Denise and Oscars Posh Pets is a new Grooming Service in your area and names after my famous Toy Poodle “Oscar”. I offer a Professional Grooming Service for all breeds. An experienced groomer for 30 years I have shown and prepared dogs for the show ring to the highest standard and my Affix Rognis is known Worldwide for producing Top Quality Toy Poodles especiall

y at Crufts. I have held the record in Toy Poodles for the youngest Junior Warrant holder and Oscar the youngest to be awarded a Challenge Certificate. As an International Show Judge I have awarded CC’s here and Europe and judged Groups of the coated breeds. All dogs groomed are given the utmost care and attention in a clean environment and groomed to top standard when trimmed regularly although if badly matted this is sometimes difficult. Expert advise is given if asked with regards grooming of coated breeds and what to use to ensure that your loved pet stays in good condition. Dogs under my care are given individual attention to their needs to ensure that they leave happy. Recommendations from my present customers can be provided if requested.

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas and Happy 2017. I am hoping that 2017 will be personally a better year I will not be taking on anymore grooming and hope instead to spend more time with my wonderful Poodles. This year I look forward to judging in Norway and Poodles at Driffield Championship Show. In May I also look forward showing in Madrid. I am always willing to help with any dog queries or if interested anyone wanting to foster or adopt Poodles for forever homes.

Sadly because of my husband's illness Oscar's was unable to carry on for a while. My husband died 6 April 2016 after a long fight with pancreatic cancer. I hope to carry on again in May but in future this will be part time. I would like to say Thank You to my customers that have supported me through these stressful months and have become very good friends to me. You have been wonderful!

Because of my husband's illness Oscar's will not be taking on any dogs until the end of January. This has been a hard decision to make but my husband needs care until he is stronger and is my priority. Thank you to my wonderful customers for their support at this time which has been a stressful few months. Hopefully 2016 will be better and I can welcome customers old and new.

My cover photo is Tammy. Tammy was left to wander in the road for 2 days before Standard Poodle Rescue was called to take her in. She was in a terrible state. Now after her firest trim a very well loved Poodle. This is after a month of being loved.

Ok I know I have been in Poodles a long time but when someone has a 14 year old Poodle and says she has never looked so good even I feel proud.

PLEASE NOTE: Oscars is a member of PFI and is not happy that although we welcome competition Groomers DO NOT as stated in a local paper use force when grooming. Also A**l Glands is against the law and when not done by a Vet can ONLY be done by Groomers with a letter stating that they agree to this.

I have now joined British Dog Groomers Association. I will be the only one to be recommemded by them to date in the Sudbury Area. This should be in their next magazine for people looking for a Groomer who fulfils their criteria what they consider a good groomer who grooms to the correct standard. Also Vet's Mulberry Court and Swains in the area have my leaflets on display for their customers as a Groomer. To them I say THANK YOU!
