Seachem Purigen is a fantastic product. I've used it many times in aquascapes where crystal clear water is the goal. When placed in your external canister filter, it quickly removes tannins from the water. If you're starting a new aquarium with wood as a hardscape element, then it's definitely recommended to add a pouch of purigen to help maintain clear water. 🌿 riverwoodaquatics.co.uk

JBL Volcano Mineral 9L & 3L in stock. Often overlooked as a baselayer substrate, but it is a fantastic addition to any natural aquascape. It is the ideal first layer for building height in the substrate. This not only helps with aesthetics as you construct your aquascape, but also biologically. The porous structure of the mineral is an effective breeding ground for beneficial bacteria, as well as providing a steady supply of trace elements to your plants' roots. JBL Volcano Mineral works very well when capped with aquarium soil for a lush and stable planted aquarium. 🌿🌿🌿

Good morning, everyone ☀️. Here's a throwback to my old Aquascaper 600 aquarium. This was an experimental layout that I really enjoyed. I used Corbo Catfish Root to build the wood structure, I added a small pump with a length of hose to keep the emergent section wet. This allowed me to grow plants on the wood. Have a great weekend!
