🐶🐾🦷 Emmi-pet Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning 🦷🐾🐶

🦷🐾How does it work?🐾🦷
It’s an ultrasonic toothbrush; there’s no vibration, rubbing or noise, so it’s not scary for your pooch - they just have to sit patiently with the brush held against the tooth (some may need a few extra sessions for this!)

🐶🦷 The ultrasound of the toothbrush combined with the special toothpaste produces billions of microscopic nano-bubbles which implode once they touch the teeth to clean the surface and kill bacteria.

🪥🐶 First Session 45-60mins: £45 this includes:
Full health check consultation - this is compulsory.
A consent form will be discussed and signed.
Plus your dog's own sterile toothbrush as well as a taster session teeth clean - this will help me establish if your pooch will allow the service (this is non refundable. If your dog is not suitable for the service the price covers the time booked & the brush head £10)

🦷🪥 Further Sessions 25-40mins: £20
These can be added onto the groom or booked separately and are pay as you go depending on your dogs teeth.

🐶🦷 Block bookings are available - these are highly recommended for dogs that require quite few sessions - they are at a discounted price of £150 for 10 sessions - 1 x Consultation up to 60mins, toothbrush head plus 9 further sessions (normally £170 - a saving of £30) - terms and conditions apply

🦷🐾 Emmi-pet is NOT a veterinary procedure and results may not happen instantly/or at all. It will ultimately depend on the condition of the teeth and gums.

🦷🐾🐶 Sessions might have to be every week to start with until they can be added to grooming appointments (block booking recommended)

🦷🐶 This service is not a one off treatment to replace a veterinary dental treatment. It’s to help promote healthy teeth and gums and prevent further problems.

🐶🪥 It’s also an excellent service to start on puppies too. Prevention is the best cure. An ideal schedule for plaque free teeth would be to have their teeth brushed every 4 weeks whilst using the Orozyme gel (£15). This enzymatic gel is applied daily & stops the build up plaque before it has time to harden.

I thought I'd pin this to my home page so you have some information about me.

My name is Lyndsey & I am a one on one 🐶 groomer in Roker, Sunderland.

🐶🐾 I've been grooming now for over 2 years. I originally started at East Durham College doing a basic course in bathing, drying, health & safety & how to handle dogs. I went back to do the City & Guikds Level 2 in Dog Grooming but by the end of the course I didn't feel the training was adequate so I decided to do the iPet Level 3 in Dog Grooming & Salon Management at Pawfect Style School Of Dog Grooming. The course content was perfect, the tutor was amazing & I learnt so much more than at college. The variety of dog breeds I've groomed was amazing. The course also covers Canine First Aid so I am qualified to administer first aid to any dog.

🐶🦷🪥 I'm also qualified in the Emmi-Pet Ultrasonic Toothbrush. This form of dental hygeine uses a toothbrush that uses ultrasonic waves to break down plaque on your dogs teeth so there is no brushing, no sound & no vibration. Other than having a toothbrush held lightly against their tooth the dog feels nothing making it more tolerable than ordinary brushing. It also kills the bacteria that causes bad breath & gum disease 12mm under the gum line. It's much more cost effect than taking your dog to the vet for it to be removed under anaesthetic, which in itself carries it's own risks.

🐾🐶 Being a one on one dog groomer makes it less stressful for dogs who may be anxious about going to the groomer for any reason. They won't bump into other dogs, there's less noise than larger salons & they have my full attention.

Wow what a difference! Ollie was in for his 10th session & the plaque is really coming off. His breath smells better, his gums are better too. Still needs work but we’re getting there. It’s took years to build up & just a few weeks to start breaking it down. His mama is also using the orozyme gel daily which is just rubbed on the teeth. The enzymes in it get to work helping to break the plaque down in between sessions 🐾🦷🐶

Ollie’s teeth are already making an improvement. Not only does his breath smell better but the hard plaque is starting to come off too. Also his gums aren’t bleeding at the back when they’re touched. It’s took years to build up but the emmi-pet ultrasonic toothbrush is doing a great job of bringing it off & healing his gums at the same time. 🪥🦷🐶🐾

This is the lovely Nutmeg a shih tzu x pug. She’s had a bad groomer experience in the past so she popped in to meet me last week to see the equipment & her mam left her for 20 mins so Nutmeg knew she wasn’t being abandoned. She did very well today & I’m so pleased she came in. She’s just a lovely challenge & can’t wait to see her again 🥰🐾❤️✂️🐶
