On today’s mooch……
Amber, Max, George and Luna were reunited! They were so excited they ran the length of the beach at least 20 times 😂 It was very foggy and it was hard to see but this didn’t stop them having a paddle and chasing the seagulls! Some very tired pooches tonight I think!
Next Roman, Nina, Henry, Luna, Teddy and Rosco had a walk along the cycle path and through the woods. They were so happy to see me and the treat bag 😂 Some lovely posing going on in return for treats too! Roman and Luna spotted a rabbit and they were on high alert from then on. Nina was on a go slow today trotting behind my legs all the way. Teddy, Henry and Rosco were in competition for the best sniffing spots barging each other out the way to get in first!

On today’s mooch……
Amber, George and Luna went to the field. Amber and George were trying to tempt me to go into the dene - no chance with the rain yesterday it would be a mud bath! They made do with popping in and out of the tree line so they sort of got their way 😜
Next Oscar, Roman, Jess, Skye and Luna went to Herrington Park. First we had a walk around the park to have a little explore then we went to the open area for some off lead fun!

On today’s mooch……
Amber, Roman and Luna were first out. We had an explore of the woods and walked along the new path at Doxford Park. They walked very well on lead.
Next Betty, Rex, Chip and Luna went to Herrington Park. They also explored the woods. We avoided the lake as there was so many geese! They tried some blackberries but were disgusted 😜 Betty loves the dachshunds and they love running along with her.

On today’s mooch……
Amber and Luna went to the beach. I don’t know what got into Luna but she went wild for Amber to chase her and was pelting along beside her. Amber played with her and wound her up by going in the sea - Luna doesn’t like water 😜
Next guess who came back for a one off! Ruby 🥰!!! She was reunited with Roman, Chip and Luna for a lovely stroll at Cox Green. They were so happy to see each other, tails were going ninety to the dozen! After a while they plodded on like they’d never been apart 🥺
Lastly Maddie, Macey, Izzy, Ruby and Luna went to the woods. Ruby and Izzy also greeted each other but Izzy was with her family so swanned off with them 😜 Maddie and Macey also liked Ruby, they hadn’t met her before but she was welcomed with open arms as she’s so nice natured. Treats for everyone also was welcomed 😂

On today’s mooch……
Amber, George and Luna went to the beach. Not a soul was around so they loved having full run! They were so funny today rolling about on the sand and running round and round a rock after each other. They also liked to run at the seagulls to scatter them!
Next Roman, Chip and both Lunas went to the woods. They got a fuss off a lady who said they were a very well behaved little group ⭐️ Luna was walking like a meerkat looking for birds. Chip found a little gap in the tree only he could walk through! Roman walked like Frankenstein over the stick bridges 😜

On today’s mooch……
Amber, Roman and Luna had a walk through the woods. Roman was on bird and squirrel watch today, even if a leaf moved his head twitched 😜 Amber had to be in front when we were exploring little paths just incase anything interesting was there, she needed to be first!
Next Winnie, Rex, Oscar, Betty and both Lunas went to the field. We met some doggy friends today and a lovely little puppy who was playing with everyone. Everyone bar macho Rex who needed to give everyone a mega woof to protect his friends 😜
Lastly Poppy, Rosie and Luna went to the Secret Garden. We stayed in the shade of the trees as it was a bit warm.

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, George, Roman and Luna were first out. They tried some blackberries, they must have been sour as they looked like they were sucking a lemon 😂 Luna hoovered them up though! Roman was trying to keep up with Amber and George but he just couldn’t catch up!
Next Winnie, Nina, Henry, Chip, Skye and Jess went to Herrington Park. The men cutting the grass gave them a fuss which they loved, after the usual suspects gave them a woof (Nina, Henry and Chip) 😜 We had a walk around the park then had some off lead time. We had to because Skye and Jess couldn’t stop playing with each other while on lead 🥰
Lastly Poppy, Rosie, Rex and Oscar went to the field. Oscar was happy to see everyone and was desperate to play, Rex was more than happy to oblige! Poppy and Rosie like this walk as you can’t hear the traffic at all so they were very relaxed and pottered on enjoy the smells.

On todays mooch……
Amber, George and Luna went to the field. We had the whole field to ourselves and they loved running as far ahead as possible. Amber then would have a nice lie down in the shade until I caught up! George kept running between me and Amber checking on us both.
Next Roman, Winnie, Betty and Luna had a walk through the woods. We saw some fairy doors on the trees and a trail of emojis to follow. They also liked having a dip in the tiny stream.
Lastly Poppy, Rosie and Luna had a walk along the cliff tops. Poppy and Rosie stuck to the little track, they wouldn’t even move over the let someone past. It was like playing the floor is lava 😂

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, George and Luna went to the dene. Amber and George love anywhere with water so they were super excited. They were doing laps of the zoomies in and out of the stream. They also liked doing agilty courses over the fallen trees.
Next Roman, Winnie, Chip, Betty and both Lunas went to Penshaw woods. We said hello to a few doggy friends along the way and gave them a sniff. They loved exploring all of the different tracks through the woods especially when stoats/weasels kept running out in front of us and exciting them all!
Lastly Izzy, Maddie, Macey, Kala and Luna had a walk in the woods. Kala was very excited to see this many friends, we did a lot of stopping and starting until she learnt to walk calmly - that would allow you to see your friends! Izzy, Maddie and Macey were treat fiends and stalked my bag the whole time!

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, Roman and Luna were first out. It was raining but it was quite nice as it kept us nice and cool. We went a slightly different way to when we normally do this route and they couldn’t keep their nose off the floor. They did look up for treat time!
Next Nina, Henry, Winnie, Chip, Betty and Luna had a walk along the riverside. It was quite warm and someone left a bowl of water outside of their house, this lot took their share! They were even peeking through the gate - I think they were saying thank you! Funny they won’t drink out of my water bottle though 🤪

If a pup wants to sniff walk for longer than the 5 minutes per month of age then they can. We no longer need to restrict the length of the walk just not subject them to certain movements like stairs and chasing a ball. But gentle walking as long as they aren’t tired is perfect!

On today’s mooch……
Amber, George, Luna and Roman were first out. George was a bit scared of the builders making loud noises so he had to be coaxed with treats. Amber and Roman weren’t bothered they continued their exploring and sniffing and didn’t even flinch.
Next Betty, Rosco, Winnie and both Lunas walked around Silksworth Ski slope. They liked to have a look at the ducks on the pond and walking around the outside of the running track. We made some doggy friends on the way round.
Lastly Rex, Poppy, Rosie and Luna walked around the Secret Garden. It was funny watching them exploring the rocky parts of the bath with their little bums wiggling 😜 Rex was chasing leaves which were everywhere with it being windy! Rosie kept licking my leg when I stopped walking, I think she was hinting to get the treat bag out!

On today’s mooch……..
Amber, George and Luna went to the cliff tops. They really enjoyed walking along the skinny path through the corn to the big field. They saw a rabbit but were very good and didn’t chase it, even though they looked very interested!
Next Nina, Henry, Chip, Skye, Roman and Jess had a good play on the field next to the river. Skye got the zoomies and was pinging off everyone until they played! Then we had a big game of chase and Jess loved this game! Roman, Nina, Henry and Chip were a bit more chilled and only lasted a few minutes of super zooming!
Lastly Rosco and Kala met each other for the first time. They were intrigued with each other and couldn’t stop wagging! We didn’t get very far 😂

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, George and Luna walked along the cliff tops. It’s been a while since we were here and they loved how much it has grown, they enjoyed going through all of the different paths. George could hear mice rustling in the corn and was fascinated. Amber was on a mission storming ahead so she could be the first to explore everything.
Next Roman, Rosco, Betty, Chip, Teddy and Rex also went to the cliff tops. Chip tried to roll on something and when we looked someone had dumped some crabs and the smell was horrendous! We had to avoid that! Everyone was kept on lead as the corn was taller than most of them 😜 They still had lots of fun trekking along the tracks.

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, George and Luna went to the field. Amber loved rolling around in the damp grass, George was giving her funny looks! She tried hunting out her favourite puddle spots but they were all dried up 😜 George followed Amber everywhere today I’m sure he’s making sure she doesn’t go on holiday again!
Next Chip, Rosco, Betty, Teddy, Roman and Luna had a walk along the riverside. Everyone was in a very happy mood today, trotting along with their tails in the air. We saw our boxer friend who they love to bark at as we go past, they didn’t disappoint! The boxer doesn’t mind he recognises them now and bounces with excitement as they pass.
Lastly Maddie, Macey, Kala and Luna had a walk in the woods. Kala did her best at woodland agility 😜 she managed to do a big jump over a turnstile! Maddie and Macey took the “ladies” way around looking very graceful 😂 Macey did spot a squirrel and nearly catapulted us into next week 😂

On today’s mooch……
Amber, Max, George and Luna were reunited again! They had a little run about to greet each other and show how happy they were. Amber quickly stopped and remembered she was owed out some treats for being on holiday! They also found a dead hedgehog which I had to chase them away from!
Next Nina, Henry, Betty, Rosco, Roman and little Luna went to the field. It was a bit warm so the running was kept to a minimum. They all still enjoyed exploring the smells together, having a treat stop and hunting through the long grass.

On today’s mooch……
Poppy, Rosie, Roman and Luna went to the Secret Garden. They got lots of attention from passer-by’s which Roman especially enjoyed and milked it for all it was worth! Poopy and Rosie really enjoyed this walk as it was nice and cool and they couldn’t hear the traffic, they seemed much more relaxed!
Next Winnie, Chip, Betty, Teddy and Luna went to the dene. Teddy and Winnie went on a crazy run, doing loops in and out of the stream. Betty and Chip just looked at them like they were nuts! Betty did enjoy a calm plodge and always made sure he little favourite Chip wasn’t too far from her. Chip tried to find the most dry path possible, even talking the long route round the stream!

On today’s mooch…….
Roman, Nina, Henry, Jess, Skye and Rosco went to Herrington Park. We had a little walk around on lead then we had some off leash play on the field. Roman, Nina and Henry were sniffing for rabbits in the bushes. Rosco was trying to get Jess to play but she wasn’t in the mood today. Skye was tempted to chase but soon as I went to get my phone out she stood still for treats!
Then Kala met Rex for the first time. She absolutely loved him, a little too much 😜 We had to concentrate on calming down before we were allowed to sniff our friends! Rex was very calm and loved the extra treats he got for being the “teacher”

On today’s mooch…….
Just the one walk today! Roman, Chip, Rosco, Betty and Luna went to the woods. Chip and Betty weren’t fussed on crossing the bridge made out of sticks, Chip walked around it and Betty leaped over it! We found a tree full of fairy doors which they all posed next to, for a treat of course!

On today’s mooch……
George and Luna were first out. It was warm already so we walked in the woods to keep them cool. There was lots of obstacles along the path, fallen trees everywhere! George and Luna enjoyed finding the way around them or jumping over them!
Next Roman, Rex, Teddy, Rosco and Luna went to the dene. It was a different climate here, nice and cool shade with water to plodge in. Teddy thinks he’s an expert now we’ve been here a few times and was storming ahead on the paths we usually take. Rosco and Rex were playing tag, until we seen a make shift swing which Rex needed to bark at. Rosco was brave and went over and nibbled the string!
Lastly Maddie, Kala and Luna had a shaded walk in the woods. Try as she might Kala couldn’t tempt Maddie to acknowledge her! Maddie went on full extend of her lead to keep out of the way and enjoy her peaceful walk. Good job my Emily was there to fuss over Kala, which she loved!

On today’s mooch…..
Roman, Nina, Henry, Chip, Rosco and Teddy headed to the dene to keep cool. The water was nice and cold I can confirm, my wellies had a split in and my foot was soaking 😂 The little gang had lots of fun running up and down the tracks through the woods and having a little paddle to cool them down. It was just a nice temperature out of the sun and in the shaded dene.

On today’s mooch…..
Amber, Roman and Luna had a walk in the woods and along the track. Amber found the one puddle that has survived the nice weather and of course stamped through it 😂 she had little muddy boots!
Next Oscar, Betty, Chip, Poppy, Rosie and Luna went to the field. They had a little run around together and loved a stop for a treat and picture pose! Betty was sticking with her beloved sausages even though she is so much taller! Oscar amused himself running through the grass as if someone was chasing him, but nope it was just himself 😜 Poppy, Rosie and Chip plodded on together. Chip was cleaning the girls ears 😂

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, George and Luna went to the field. It was getting quite warm so they had plenty of water and had to take things slowly. We kept to the shade as much as possible and they had a good sniff in the grass. I even hid some treats in there to keep them calm and occupied!
Next Roman, Nina, Henry, Skye, Jess and Luna had a walk around Herrington Park, it was now cloudy and looked like it was going to rain! Luna got told off for trying to drink from the pond, then Nina copied and I’m sure she said “nooo” to Luna 😂 We made some doggy friends on the way round and everyone said they were well behaved 🥰 We had a few attempted rolls from Skye but I couldn’t see anything there 🤨
Lastly Kala and Luna went to the beach. Kala had us in a kink by slithering along the sand. Then I took her to the waters edge and she was running away from the waves 😜

On today’s mooch…….
Amber, George and Luna went to the dene. They loved splashing in the water. Amber was finding sticks under the water and George found a plastic bottle. They were so excited they were showering me as they s**t passed!
Next Roman, Rex, Chip, Teddy and Luna had a walk along the riverside. We got stopped by the police half way along and had to go the other way. They loved having treat stops and peering at the birds on the river. A house had a bowl of water outside and the little gang loved having a neb in their gate!

On today’s mooch…..
Amber, George and Luna went to the field. There was a few pheasants giving the gang shocks by flying up out of the grass. Amber liked to zip off and “disappear” around the corner, sending George into hunt mode. He won’t make it as a sniffer dog 😜
Next Roman, Teddy and Luna went to the woods. Teddy was centimetres away from rolling on a dead rat, I just seen it out the corner of my eye 😮‍💨 Roman liked to neb at people walking past with their dogs, I think he was hoping for a treat!
Lastly Kala, Maddie, Macey and Luna had a walk in the woods. Kala was very happy my little girl was with us today and lapped up all of the attention. Maddie and Macey were glad of the distraction so they could get on with doing their own thing, casually strolling and sniffing every leaf!

On today’s mooch……
Amber, Roman and Luna were first out. They loved exploring the woods and nearly taking me off my feet trying to chase the birds 😜 They loved a treat stop and were very good at catching them!
Next Nina, Henry, Rex, Chip, Teddy and Luna went to the field. Luna was full of energy today and no one could catch her! Rex and Chip love it when they are out together - sausages unite!! Teddy, Nina and Henry were fascinated with clumps of fur on the field - I think someone had been brushing their dog - they couldn’t keep their noses off it!

On today’s mooch…… Amber, George, Roman and Luna went to the field. It was very squelchy! Roman looked like he had brown boots on! George and Amber catapulted through puddles and rummaged through the grass because they could hear something in there. Next Betty, Oscar, Chip, Winnie and both Lunas went to the beach. What a good run around and play they had! Chip was giving us all the evil eye when we went too close to the sea - he hates water! So we all had to go Chips way on dry land! Lastly Poppy, Rosie and Luna had a walk around silksworth ski slope and pond. Rosie did not like standing on the wooden fishing spots, Poppy didn’t mind she quite liked looking at the ducks from her little platform!

On today’s mooch….. Amber, Roman and Luna had an explore along the path and through the woods. The field we usually have off lead play on was totally cordoned off by the builders 😢 Amber gave them her best evil stare through the trees 😂 We still had lots of fun exploring a different route and taking in all of the interesting smells. Next Betty, Izzy, Oscar, Winnie, Poppy and Rosie had a wild time at Cox Green. They were all so happy today, I think the little bit sunshine gave them all the zoomies! I have never seen Betty and Oscar run so fast! Winnie led them to the most dirtiest places possible - especially in and out of the stream! Izzy was barking she was so excited and she wanted me to throw sticks for her. Poppy and Rosie joined the gang on a zoom along the path, Poppy loved plodging in the stream - Rosie not so much!

On today’s mooch….. We worked on Roscos recall today, as you can see he is doing fantastic! Helped of course by his new bestie Rex. I only ever use positive reinforcement with my pooches. By giving Rosco lots of praise and a treat for coming back he will be more likely to repeat the behaviour I want in the future. For example would you run back to someone who was going to shout at you or hurt you? No definitely not! But if someone gave you your favourite treat (choccy defo for me 😜) you would definitely go back! No negative reinforcement will ever be used by me ever. Love and kindness is the way 🥰
