Absolutely appalling conditions. Lost for words to be honest. I thought about sharing these photos for a little while, but having seen fellow businesses sharing, I decided when choosing care for your dog there is never too much info out there.

We are more than happy to have clients visit our home, we encourage it. We carry out an initial meet and greet, then we have a trial night followed by additional visits and familiarisation sessions to suit both client and dog, should we feel this is necessary. This allows plenty of opportunity for clients to feel comfortable with the services we offer.

It's very hard to leave your dog in someone else's care, especially if you've not used them before. All I can say is go with your gut feelings, put in the groundwork and prepare early. Initial contact from many of my new clients begins a year or even more before a planned holiday. It gives time to build a relationship and feel fully reassured that you have trust in your home boarder. It's work that pays dividends.

Thankfully shocking scenes like this are the exception, but licencing and building that relationship up in advance hopefully will reduce the chances of this happening.

What a lovely weekend it's been. The weather, and the gang, have been equally fabulous. Long may it continue. Thank you to all my amazing clients for choosing us to care for your beautiful dogs. It means more than I can say. Even though I ended the week with an awful virus that robbed me of the weekend, I feel as though it's on its way out now and I'm looking forward to the week ahead. I still managed to get some horsey time in 🐎

Multi boarding? Do the dogs get on? Erm....yes😍. This is why we do meet and greets, trial nights and further settling in work depending on the individual dogs needs. Putting in the groundwork reaps the rewards. It isn't a home boarders way of generating extra income, it's how to ensure your dog is settled and happy, both with us and with other dogs we have in our care. That means you can take your holidays with confidence and relax, knowing that your dog is having the best time too. The dogs tend to absolutely love the company of other dogs. Of course, some dogs don't, but that would be determined during assessment. Daisy and Meghan....best buddies 💕

Exciting news......we have just taken delivery of some doggie translators with the intention of being able to provide an even better service to your furry friends. What better way than to provide for your dogs every need than to know exactly what they'd like by being able to understand their barks. We will be using these on a trial basis in the coming days. Here's my usual weekly round up. Please feel free to share any photos of your dogs on your socials. It's been a fantastic week. Boarding has been busy as we move into spring and the holiday season starts to build. The weather this week has been kind. Long may it continue.

Thank you to all my customers for continuing to choose us to care for your precious pets. We really appreciate each and every booking, but also all the interactions with my page. It's building slowly 🐌, after the last page was lost to the ether! Please do keep interacting and any shares are gratefully received. I would love to get my page likes back to where they were. I have a long way to go!

But what really matters is word of mouth, and that's thanks to you all. Despite the lower page following my little business continues to thrive. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for that.

I hope you all have a lovely mothers day today 💗. It's often not the easiest of days for many of us, including myself, so I'm thinking of all of those who find today tough. Have a lovely (if windy) walk with your furry ones 🐾. See you all next week ❤️
