Meet Marley! Marley is a 4 year old Labrador who is a very fearful dog and is uncertain of a lot of things when out on walks. He came in for his first session today and he was amazing. We worked on a lot of handler engagement, and building up his drive with his owners. Can’t wait for his next session in the coming weeks!

Meet Benji! Benji is a 2 year old American Akita. And what a handsome lad he is.🥹 Benji has came in with reactivity towards other dogs. He came in for his first session with us and we are now working closely with his owner to come up with a training plan to help with the reactivity. Benji will be joining our reactivity programme. We look forward to seeing Benji at his next session! 🌟🐕

Meet Boris! A one year old American Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix! 🐕 Isn’t he gorgeous 🥹 It was Boris’ first session today and he was a superstar🌟. Meet Zena and Zuri. 🐕Mum and daughter! Aren’t they both gorgeous. 🥹They are both doing our Obedience and Foundational Skills course.

Zena is a 1 year old Boerboel Mastiff. It was her first session today and she was just amazing 🤩. Cant wait for our next session with her! Keep an eye out for more posts on Zena 🌟

Meet Cooper! A 2 year old German Shepherd! 🐕 He’s such a handsome boy! Cooper has came in with some reactivity to dogs and humans and just after one session his owners can already see some progress! 🌟 We are working closely with his owners to help come up with a training plan to help neutralise the triggers. We look forward to working with Cooper next week🤩.

Jax was back for his 2nd session with us today and WOW! He was amazing! 🤩 Jax came in with some reactivity to other dogs and today we were able to bring our personal K9 down to the training session with us and have Jax walk around with her and even sit closely together! Jax is doing amazing! We are working closely with his owners and working on the next steps of his training plan! Meet Harley and Tank!🐕

Harley is a 17 month old South African Mastiff! Isn’t she gorgeous🥹 Harley is going through our foundational skills and obedience training classes. And she was a superstar🌟 Keep an eye out for more posts of Harley and how she’s doing in her training!

Tank is a 9 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Isn’t he a handsome lad🥹 Tank is very fearful of people so we are working with him and his owner on some socialisation and helping Tank get over his fear of people. Tank is going through our puppy classes. Keep an eye out for Tank and updates on his training!

Meet Jax! Jax is a 2 year old German Shepherd. It was Jax’s first training session today! Jax has a small reactivity to dogs. We are working with Jax’s owners on ways to overcome this reactivity and replace it with wanted behaviours. Jax has been an absolute superstar today✨ We have helped the owners with new methods to imrpove Jax’s reactivity to dogs, which his owners are going to work on over the next couple of weeks until his next session! Can’t wait to see Jax for his next training session!

Meet Ruby! A five month old Belgian Malinois. It was Ruby’s first training session today! And she was just a super star✨ Ruby is very fearful of people and other dogs. So we are working with her owners on overcoming them fears and correcting the unwanted behaviour and replacing it with wanted behaviour. We have came up with a training plan with the owners to work on over the coming week until her next session with us. Can’t wait for your next session Ruby!

Yet again Erin and Nova back in for another session. The pure determination from Erin really does go to show that it really does pay off when you put the reps in. So today we had an environmental session where we had a lot of exposure to one of my own K9’s to which the interaction could be controlled safely and upon this there was socialisation regarding people to which there was a lot of positive interaction with individual members of public. We finished the session with working on recall to which Nova smashed. Absolutely brilliant session again. Well done Erin and well done Nova from all at JandNK9.

Jax

Chase

Chase was in today for a cheeky little bite work protection session and he is vastly improving with his out command and being able to get a proper grip and hold and keeping his interest he’s doing very well. Good work today chase.

Zeus

Today we had Zeus in for an assessment to see where he’s thriving and where he’s struggling. His owner Damien has done a great job so far but Zeus does need some support around his obedience and reactivity to other dogs. Was a lovely little session added a few pointers to Damien explaining about correct lead handling and being more confident within a walk and what a difference from the start of the session to the end of the session Zeus was calm and a lot more focused on his owner which allowed him to enjoy the walk a lot more for both of them. Keep up the good work Zeus and I look forward to our further sessions.
