International Dog Day is exactly what it sounds like – a whole day dedicated to celebrating our most pawfect companions🐾🐶🐕🦺🐕🐩🦮
International Dog Day ~ celebrates dogs of all breeds to be given the opportunity to live happy, safe and abuse free lives. It also aims to raise awareness of the number of dogs that are still awaiting adoption from shelters and rescue agencies yet to find a home and a forever family.
International Dog Day honors family dogs and dogs that work selflessly to save lives, keep us safe and bring comfort. Dogs put their lives on the line every day for us, protecting our families and homes, for their blind companions, for the disabled, for their Police partner, for our freedom and safety by detecting bombs and drugs and helping to locate and rescue victims of accidents and tragedy.
So let’s go and spoil our woofers, they give so much to us and it is only right we celebrate how great they make our lives🥰🐾
