Meet Thor the White Swiss Shepherd!

At just 11 months old, this enthusiastic puppy has been dealing with challenges, including on-and-off forelimb lameness. After a period of crate rest to manage his condition, Thor developed some muscle wastage, which led his vet to recommend hydrotherapy.

From the moment he stepped into the centre, Thor was full of energy and curiosity, soaking in all the excitement around him—until it was shower time! 😳
Like many dogs, Thor found his first shower experience a bit daunting, but with plenty of praise and gentle encouragement, he bravely faced his fears. 👏🏻

In the pool, Thor was engaged and worked well with our therapists, by the end of the session, he was swimming with newfound confidence and comfort. 🐾💦

We cannot wait to see Thor again for more sessions that will help him build strength, regain muscle, and most importantly, have fun in the process! 🫶🏻

Lexi is attending hydrotherapy sessions as her owner was looking for an alternative way to exercise and help her shed some extra pounds—all while having fun in a safe and controlled environment.

With her favorite toy in tow, Lexi was eager to get started and quickly got inthe zone, completing laps around the pool with enthusiasm! For her first session, she did an amazing job, and we couldn't be prouder!

Meet Magnus the Golden Retriever!

Magnus has joined us for senior swims, and we’re here to help him stay mobile and maintain that all-important muscle strength.

From the start, Magnus showed his gentle nature during his first session. He was calm, easy-going, and got on with it – no fuss! While his confidence in the pool could use a little boost, we’re excited to work with him to make swimming a fun experience. 🐾💦

To top off his first session, Magnus enjoyed a well-deserved pampering, at the end of the session, with a festive-smelling shampoo – because self-care is important too! 🎄🛁

Meet Rosie the Labrador!

Rosie has joined us for hydrotherapy sessions as part of her alternate exercise routine and for overall maintenance. She's carrying some excess weight; our sessions can help her shed those extra pounds and improve her mobility. 👏🏻

During her assessment, Rosie was a little timid with our therapists, but we’re happy to share that after her second session, she’s starting to warm up to us and is noticeably more comfortable in the hydrotherapy environment! 💞

Her swimming technique is gradually improving, and we can't wait to watch her confidence continue to grow! 🐾💦
