UPDATE ON LUNA: THIS IS NOW AN OWNERSHIP DISPUTE! We have received information that this is a civil dispute matter, Police have an incident number. Luna is safe and well, with her new owners.

Paws 'n' Claws Pet Grooming Services are open during the current pandemic, and are busy keeping our existing clients' fur babies pampered.
For any new clients out there, why not book your beloved pooch or your feline companion in for that extra special pamper!
We are fully equipped to deal with the current guidelines and regulations, with social distancing being observed.
We have hand sanitiser and anti-bac spray at the entrance, and ask that ALL visitors to the salon come prepared with, and wear a mask when entering the premises.
Our service is one to one, and no dog or cat is left alone.
Our salon is fully equipped with the best equipment to give your beloved companion the best of treatments, and I am City & Guilds qualified with all the necessary insurances in place.
We offer full bath and grooming services for dogs inc. ear clean and nail clipping, and can include the Nagayu CO2 bathing system, especially developed for pet bathing, helping pets everywhere with issues like dandruff, hotspots, yeast, tick/flea bites, odour, itchiness, hair growth and overall cleanliness for skin and coat.
Cat grooming also catered for including dry shampoo if required.
Other services include:
• Ultrasonic canine teeth cleaning
• Dog walking service
• Pet sitting
• Small animal nail clipping and bathing (Guinea Pigs/Rabbits)

Since the easing of the lockdown measures in mid-May, we have been open for business and honouring the cancelled appointments booked following the initial lockdown, but are now in a positon where we have space for the return of our existing and any new clientele with a few appointments available for this coming week, and from w/c 15th June moving forward.
We are trading under strict guidelines and social distancing measures:
• Appointments will only be taken in advance.
• Only one customer will be allowed to drop their pet at any one time.
• Strict appointment times MUST be adhered to. We ask you to be prompt so please do not arrive too early or late, otherwise you may be asked to rebook.
• Hand sanitiser and antiseptic spray will be available and we would encourage you to sanitise your hands and our entrance handle on arrival and departure.
• On arrival, please take your lead and collar from your dog and fit on the slip lead provided. This will be located just behind the entrance gate.
• Please ensure you take the collar and lead away with you.
• We feel this is the safest measure for both of us at this time and this follows the national guidelines.
• We will call you in time prior to your dog being ready for collection. Please arrive promptly, and call us on the number we provide on your arrival.
• On collection of your dog please follow the same procedure, where you will be met, and your dog handed back to you at a safe distance.
• Payment to be made in advance, or at least before collection of your pet by BACS or PayPal to limit the amount of possible human contact.
• Contactless card payments can be made, but only for those not using online banking payments or PayPal.
• Cash will only be accepted in extreme circumstances where a ziplock wallet will be provided. Exact value of payment only will be taken. NO CHANGE WILL BE GIVEN.
• Unfortunately, at this moment in time we will be unable to offer just a nail clipping service or any service without bathing.
• If you are unable to walk to the salon as we strongly advise, please only attend your appointment in conjunction with a government approved necessary journey.
• If you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have been in contact with anyone showing symptoms or confirmed to have Coronavirus in the past 14 days please DO NOT attend your appointment or ask anyone else to drop your dog off for your appointment !
Please keep to these guidelines, so we can carry on grooming your pets, keeping them clean, healthy and happy. Our first priority has always been the public’s safety and protecting our NHS.

Following the Prime Minister’s recent speech and his encouragement to return to work whist adhering to social distancing measures, we have the following update:
