All dog lovers know that our four legged furbabies are a part of the family and deserve to be treated as such. All dogs need regular exercise and interaction but every day busy lives can make this difficult to achieve on a scale that we hope to deliver. Under these circumstances I hope I can fill the gaps by providing walks and/or home visits to ensure your dog(s) receive(s) the very best care and

attention they could hope for. As a starting point I can walk your loved ones for 30 or 60 minutes. This can be a street walk, in a local park or a more robust walk in somewhere like Sutton Park. Depending on your preferences I can walk your dog(s) on lead, on a long line or off lead, so long as you are confident that your dog(s) will recall to me. Following the walk I will ensure your dog(s) are safely returned home and provided with fresh water. Should they require a feed at this point I am more than happy to accommodate at no extra charge. Home Visits: I can visit your dog(s) at home for as little as 15 minutes for a quick let out in the garden, play, feed and water top up. Longer visits can be arranged to include interactive play for a duration of your choice, usually up to an hour. I am fully insured, flexible and accommodating, not forgetting reliable and professional. My DBS (previously CRB) is currently underway and will soon be available at request (I am confident this will be 100% clear!)

Should you want to know a little more about me...

My "serious" love for dogs started in 2014 (although as a child I AWAYS wanted a dog, was just never allowed and as an adult my long working hours never permitted...) when I started walking a friends dog in training for 3 peaks. Monty, the chocolate labrador, was a new lease of life for me and soon we were off on camping trips together! Following that I started looking after friends dogs in exchange for...wine! I then got involved with a local rescue charity, Pattering Paws, and started fostering for them along with helping out with home checks and transportation. I have since looked after many rescue dogs, something that has become very close to my heart. I had known for a while that I had wanted to get out of my now previous vocation (after 14 years post qualification as an accountant), it took a while to work out just where I wanted to go, and then discovered it was to work with dogs! So here I am, building a new career for myself and if you seriously got this far in reading about me, then thank you !!

Last chance to grab tickets to Trevor Cooper Dog Law seminar THIS SUNDAY based in Erdington. Just £20 for a session on dog law. If you own a dog or work with dogs it is imperative to know where you stand should something happen involving your dog. You’d be surprised where the law falls even if your dog looks at someone wrong. Here is an essential guide what to do and what NOT to do should a situation arise. Trevor is a solicitor specialising in dog law for many years. I can point you in the direction should you want to attend.

So he may not bark but he still has four paws and I’ve just looked back and I’ve been feeding this little fella for the best part of 2 years!

I’ve not done many sleepovers during this time but he is very fussy who he trusts and snuggles with.

Over the moon this week I got many snuggles despite the protection blanket during 100 degrees heat. I’m not only melting 😓 but my heart has also melted with this one’s affection this week. Will miss you Smudgy, until next time xx

Rebecca mum is drawn between so pleased he is happy and how dare he snuggle anyone but me 🤣🤣🤣

How aware are you of your responsibilities over your dog should there be an incident whether it be in the house with a visitor or delivery person, in the park, on a street walk, when a random pokes their finger through your open car window to say hello to your secure dog. The law rarely falls on the dogs side and can lead to destruction and prison sentences for something you consider minor. The seminar below could be priceless for you and your dog and Trevor Cooper really is the best!

I’ll be attending so I am fully up to speed whilst your dogs are in my care, you are more than welcome to join me!

Pets are family. Their abduction a traumatic experience. Despite this, stolen pets are regarded as personal property, with sentences dependent on monetary value. The Government should recognise the emotional & welfare impacts this crime has on people & pets by introducing a 'pet abduction' offence.

It’s with a heavy heart that I bring the sad news that the foster boy Toby today grew his angel wings and took himself across rainbow bridge. Since joining the Pattering Paws family he gained a new lease of life. His legs were a little wobbly so we funded him a set of wheels which allowed him to join the big girl and boy walks with many of your furbabies who he just loved meeting and to be out and about with.

You will be truly missed Toby, fly high and remember the good times, I will forever treasure them. Love you Tobes, sleep tight my darling ###
