Book Your Spring Maintenance Today 😁🐟

It has been proven over many years that ponds we have maintained and treated prior to WINTER and in the SPRING have had far less problems than those that are left unattended. This is particularly true after a pro-longed cold period.

Water quality can deteriorate if systems are unmaintained and organic matter is left to decay in the water, this will weaken the fish and contribute to parasites and bacterial disease. Spring cleaning and fish medications will greatly reduce the risk of such occurrences and thus possible fatalities.

All fish have successfully completed their first heat cycle, and are now on their way up to 76F / 24C for another two weeks.

Once cooled for a further week they will have one more cycle (so three in total) before they are ready to be taken home. During these processes skin scrapes are regularly carried out to ensure fish remain parasite free.

This three month quarantine procedure is the most stringent in the UK. Koi can be purchased through our website and in store and over wintered free of charge until April 2025.
