Living in earthquake and wild fire areas (California), it’s good to keep a pet carrier out always with it open for your cats so they’re not afraid of it. Instead of just giving your cat a treat like I’ve been doing, put the treat in the carrier. I’ve been even trying to take Melech 👑 for a little pull down the hallway in this new carrier and he’s not crying so far. That’s because cats respond to positive reinforcement so he’s associating it now with his salmon 🍣 freeze dry treat. (I’m sorry to the fish. 🐠 😔 I myself am vegan and have never eaten fish, but cats are not vegan 🌱). Living in an earthquake and fire 🔥 threat area it’s good to keep your evacuation plan and pets ready to go. 🐈
