Our Christmas donations have been delivered!
On Sunday 22nd December, I travelled down to Ashbourne to donate our items to Just For Dogs.
I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who donated and made this year's collection special.

18th December will be the end of this year's Christmas collection.
Thank-you to all whom have donated.
I'm personally heading out to get some items off the rescues wish list, then to all be delivered before Christmas 🎄

𝘿𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙚𝙡𝙨𝙋𝙚𝙩𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙚'𝙨 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙖𝙡

Over the last couple of years we've tried our upmost to get unique gifts for our clients.
This year, we are thinking a little different.

We're looking for donations for rescue centres this year. All donated, hopefully, for Christmas 🎄
What we're looking for:

▪︎ Blankets (Bedding in some form. This could be vet bedding, blankets, etc)
▪︎ Toys (Rope, Tennis balls, etc)
▪︎ Food / Treats (Pouches/tins/bags food, treats, etc)

Depending on how many items we get, it most certainly can be spread around multiple rescue centres.
If you have items to donate, please do get in contact and let's give the dogs some presents for their Christmas in kennels ⭐️

Wolf Experience in the Lake District
It was a fantastic experience all round!

This experience just reconfirms why I'm on the journey of training that I'm on.
Speaking to the owners, who have over 10 years experience in handling wolves... Reinstated that hierarchy within wolf packs within our domesticated dogs has been debunked.
So anyone coming forward with "you need to be the alpha," "you need to be the boss," mentality... Just know it's more about human control than the well being of your pet.

Over 10 years in the industry now, and the one piece of advice I've always given is to vet the trainer you're looking to use.
How do you want your dog to be trained/treated?
For me, anything that involves choke chains or prong/shock collars are an absolute no go!

Education on behaviour suppression is a must to understand what these tools do.
Love before pain 👍
