It's that time of year where people start to look at upcoming litters and puppies. And on that note we are planning to have a litter with Lucy.

Today we ran in Shropshire Gundog Society's 1 day Open.

Even though we didn't place in the awards, I have walked away feeling like a winner. This is due to all the positive feedback from all the other competitors, judges and guns. These individuals have a wealth of knowledge and experience behind them, and to hear all the wonderful feedback has made our day. And on top of that we walked away with Guns Choice.

A quick thank you to the host, judges, guns and helpers for a really enjoyable day and a big thank you to Gill the FT Secretary and the club for all your hard work putting on these trials.

OFTAW Slingley Black Beauty at Minerskiln

I'm not quiet sure what to say, but I will give it ago.
Lucy is a special dog. She is my 1st working dog and has achieved more then I ever could of imagined. An all round perfect pet/working dog. She qualified out of Novice's in her 1st season, This is our 1st season in Open's and she gained 3rd place and best hunting dog in a 2day Open. And to give her more credit this is her 2nd Open trial to date.

I would just like to say thank you to Mark and his team at 3Ridings for organising and amazing 2 days on 1 of the best Estates there is - Emblehope and Burngrange Estate.
Also thank you to Raymond and Anne for hosting us over the 2 days and thank you to the judges and helpers who kindly gave up there time.

What a weekend Lucy and I have had at Chatsworth Team event.
We ran on behalf of URC North Mids along with Anne Crookes and Matt Shetliffe.
This is the 1st time we have ran in a team event and infront of so many people.
I was really pleased with how Lucy ran, afew mistakes made on the blinds but her marking was on point, And a such an experience for us both.
On the 1st day we scored 20 20 12 20
And on the 2nd day we scored 20 10
Total score of 102 out of 120
