Well my birthday this year has been a little bit different.

For my 50th I wanted to celebrate with family and friends by doing experiences that I have never done before.

Well they certainly haven’t let me down

Maison Rose brunch 🧁👍
Royal marine assault course 🧍‍♀️👍
Diving with Sharks 🦈👍
Farm experience with the cows 🐄👍
Cadbury world 🍫👍
And even more experiences yet to come.

I have had the best birthday and I have been well and truly spoilt like never before. With gifts, experiences, so many cards and messages I can’t thank you all enough.
Here’s to being a half century and enjoying and living every moment ❤️🎉

Our diary opens on 1st November 2022 for any bookings for April 2023 and onwards. All bookings do require a non-refundable deposit to be paid upon booking.
If you would like to book your furbabies in for their holidays please contact us on 01283480248 within our opening hours, or please feel free to pop down to the kennels within our opening hours.

Monday-Friday: 8:30-12 then 2-5
Saturday - Sunday: 8:30-12 then 2-4

That’s another van full making it’s way to Hawksmoor Kennels to be delivered directly to the front line in Ukraine 🐶🐶

Delivery successfully made to Germany to be transported to Ukraine. So many bags and countless tins, sachets and treats also delivered to Hawksmoor Kennels today to put on their transport in the morning to Ukraine.
We still have around 700 bags of dog and cat food and endless sachets, tins and treats to get over there so we are still halting donations until we get the back log moved. Thanks again for everyone’s support xx

195 bags of dog and cat food, alongside tinned meat, treats and boxes of collars, leads, coats, beds and toys.

Sorry for the lack of updates this week regarding donations for the Ukraine 🇺🇦.
As you can see we have been absolutely inundated with donations and we cannot thank you all enough. To say we are overwhelmed is an understatement.
Our utility room and conservatory is full to brimming and the pictures are of our dining room and how it has filled up since Wednesday. The photos really don’t do justice to the actual amount that has been donated.
Transport is due out early next week so we can get the donations moving to exactly where the help is needed.

This week has been an emotional rollercoaster and not much sleep has been had. We’ve managed to Organise this in such a short space of time and everyone’s support truly has been amazing.

Our home is like a distribution warehouse at the moment but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Honestly we are overwhelmed by everyone’s support, we are truly thankful xx

Next step- transport to Germany ready to be loaded and sent to Ukraine 🇺🇦 for all the dogs and cats that really need our help ###

Part Time Job Vacancy! 🐶🐶 we are looking for an additional member of staff to join our team.

Kennel assistant 22.5 hours per week.
Thursday 7.30am - 4pm (1 hour lunch break)
Friday 7.30am-4pm (1 hour lunch break)
Saturday 7.30am-4pm (1 hour lunch break)

Responsibilities will include;
-feeding and exercising the dogs
-cleaning
-laundry
-bathing and light grooming of the dogs
-customer service
-IT skills/ data input
-light maintenance

Skills required for the position;
-caring and compassionate
-good communication
-organisation
-customer care
-problem solving
-team working
-initiative
-patient
-physically fit

Qualifications desired;
- GCSE maths and English grade c or above or equivalent.

Things to note;
-the role involves working outdoors in all weathers
-training and work uniform will be provided
-the hour of pay is national minimum wage

Experience desired;
-working with the general public
-working in an animal care role

We are a family run kennels who are looking for the right candidate to be absolutely passionate about working with dogs of all shapes and sizes.
