This is our boy out on our lovely frosty but sunny stretch today (we've said before we don't put photos of other people's pets on our page as they are kept private between ourselves and the customer).

Today is National Dog Day 🐾🐕

Did you know that this is celebrated on August 26th to recognize the importance of dogs in people's lives and to raise awareness about the number of dogs in need of adoption. The day also honours dogs that work to keep people safe, save lives, and provide comfort, such as dogs that serve in the police and armed forces, search and rescue, and for the disabled and blind.

Animal advocate and pet lifestyle expert Colleen Paige established National Dog Day in 2004, choosing August 26th because it's the day her family adopted their first dog when she was 10 years old. Since then, the day has become more popular, and in 2013, the New York State Senate added it to the state's legislation.

Well time is certainly going quickly this Summer!! It may have been late starting but I'm glad the kids have had good weather during the holidays. I think the hardest thing about Summer is protecting our beloved dogs and their paws in the heat.

Don't forget we not only care for your dogs but also cats, rabbits, birds, indeed almost any smaller pets you may have, in the comfort of their own home.

Happy holidays from the

With early visits done and spare time before our daughter takes her younger dog to her training session (working hard towards GOLD good citizen scheme now) it's time to turn attentions to our older boy needing his much needed haircut again. ✂️✂️💈

Copied from somewhere else but the post below is an example of why we return keys AFTER pet owners are home.......you just never know......
(Tinee Paws Team 🐾)

-------------------------------------------------------

🔑 Why I will NEVER post a key 🔑

There are exceptions, of course…If a neighbour or local friend or relative have a key then I’m slightly more inclined but what happened last night is one of the main reasons I will not post a key. Posting a key after a visit leaves the property inaccessible, once that key is through the letter box with the door locked I can no longer gain access.

This morning at 4am I received a message which didn’t wake me, at 6.30am I received a phone call. One of my lovely clients had been involved in an accident on their way home and their dogs were home alone. I can’t tell you how quickly I rushed to their house, greeted by 2 very waggy tails but they must have been so confused😢 I had called in on them yesterday for a toilet break and they had been alone since.

IF I had posted the key after the visit I would not have been able to check on them this morning. PLEASE if you ever use a pet sitter, or someone who just calls in to do toilet breaks, a quick walk while you’re at work, literally anything…NEVER EVER ask them to post a key unless there is someone you can call on in an emergency to check your babies🙏

Another customer review:

We left 3 dogs and two cats and they were looked after so very well. My dogs were happy when we got back so I think if they could talk, they would say they had the best time . Give them a call if you would like your animals looked after in your home day or night also for holidays you won’t regret it .They were 👌 superb.

Just need some sunshine to go with it....... 🙄😁
