Five walkies today, I feel like we covered pretty much the whole of Swanley village! The farmer was out in the field which restricted our walks somewhat but we walked where we could, overseeing the bonfire preparations on our way too! Also spying Halloween decorated houses in Swanley. 👻 🎃 🧙‍♀️ 🕷

Two walks were accompanied by my youngest girls and they were extremely unenthusiastic about the chaffinch in Swanley village.

Four walks and taking a second on my final walk to admire the bonfire wood pile ready for lighting soon! 🔥

I walked through 8,764 cobwebs today; it's definitely coming up to Halloween and the spiders are really doing their bit to decorate the area for it!

Still gorgeous weather for dog walking, avoiding the autumnal showers for a little longer 🤞🏻

6 walks today, near on 28k steps done, I've forgotten countless times to turn my fitbit off when recording the routes today, not sure where my head is at! Luckily with it being school holidays I managed an afternoon nap though so will try harder tomorrow!

It was a lovely autumnal day today, not too cold but not wet either. We walked all over Swanley village, Hextable and Swanley too.

Unfortunately we were approached by two off lead dogs on two separate occasions today. I can't reiterate enough that it doesn't matter how friendly your dog is, if it has no recall and runs towards my dog, it shouldn't be off a lead. It is frustrating hearing people saying the same thing every time this happens. They have no idea if my dog is on a lead because it is reactive, nervous of other dogs, has no recall or perhaps is being walked by someone other than its owner. To let a dog approach another without this knowledge is dangerous and irresponsible and is the reason I will always hold back when I see a dog off lead. Please try to remember not all dogs are friendly and want to say hello to your dog.

Just the three walkies today, I've got a reasonably quiet week which is a bit of luck as I've got one of my girls off school already for half term!

Traffic was a madness today so I'm grateful I decided to keep my clients local and managed to get to all of them without being delayed.

5 walks today, one picture missing of one client but I did see this elephant hawk moth caterpillar which was absolutely massive and the buzzards were very noisy this afternoon! My maps are still being ridiculous so it's not really worth including them 🫣 but I'm going to see if I can find a solution until Fitbit sort themselves out as it's been going on for months now 😴

My day started by reuniting besties this morning, I took a little video to prove that the minute these two have had a sniff of eachother they walk so nicely and there's no more barking because when I pick up the girlie the boy is so excited he barks until she's got her lead on! 🤣 if they didn't get on and walk nicely together like this I'd never take them out together but they seem like best buddies ❤️ so cute! Then went on to Hextable but was so excited to be back with this dog I forgot to get a photo! We travelled to Emersons Park to find the shade and alleyways to avoid the sun before getting home ASAP. Then Wilmington before 11am to take my final client out, stuck to the shaded side of the field then back towards the grammar schools and home.
