An update for you all on Lou Lou. As you can see she has been eating well and is now strong enough to play . She has also found her voice and will occasionally give a bark which she didn't do beforehand . We took her to the vets today for a weigh in and check up and she has gone from 3.4 kg to her current weight of 4.9 kg .She has still a way to go but we have stopped her hourly small meals to every three hours now . Where she was gobbling it down she is now taking her time to eat . Lou Lou is so much stronger and now enjoys a little walk on a lead . She will stand and watch the world go by and loves to sniff everything so it's a very short long walk !!! She doesn't like being in the dark so her fosters have to leave a light on for her . She is back to the vets to be weighed again next week then a follow up for second vaccination . She is off for a spa on Tuesday but we are happy to report the fur is now growing back on her ears . She really is a sweetheart . It shows with food ,love and proper check ups they improve so much . Thank you all for your support and be assured we are doing our best for this little lady x

Our piggies love to snuffle through their beds in case they find a hidden snack or two . Mud is their second favorite thing especially to wallow in! The volunteers that work with the piggies adore them and know all their little foibles and they get a proper pamper at times . Pigs are very intelligent and know exactly what they can and can't get away with ! We love our pigs .x

Our geese love an impromptu bath whether it's in a pond or a puddle they are always bathing and preening ! We all have a lovely hate relationship with them and they know it too . Geese are well known for their guarding instinct and although they go off in separate groups during the day they all come back together at night to keep each other safe . They love grazing in the fields which is their main source of food although ours will hang round the pigs when they get fed for the odd treat or two !
Our Bobby is a little tinker and loves to steal or borrow anything he can get his little hands on ! One of the dogs had left a really old well loved play toy which Bobby decided he needed regardless of how big it was . As you can see he is a very determined boy and won't stop until he can get it in ! He is so comical and keeps us laughing all the time with his antics . The dogs drag their toys in muddy puddles , mud , straw and hay but Bob doesn't care and they probably smell very yummy . Once he has successfully managed he will go off to wash his hands so he is clean ready for the next opportunity to try more ! X
How cute are these !!! Meet our youngest group of kittens that have been born with us . They are some of the 17 we are currently looking after . These ones are not ready to go off to new homes yet but we couldn't wait to show them off . We are extremely busy with 5 pregnant females all waiting to give birth in the next few weeks so it will be kitten heaven . Several of the pregnant ones came from the rescue we did recently and a few of them are only kittens themselves so the circle goes on . Luckily after giving birth and the kittens going off to new homes they will be neutered and lovely new homes found for them . We are using loads of cat/ kitten food and litter so if you can help us we would be very grateful. Each pregnant cat eats 6 pouches a day plus we offer cat biscuits to help them grow healthy good sized babies . The kittens just don't stop eating as playtime makes them very hungry and they grow everyday . What goes in also comes out so we get through lots of cat litter too ! We will keep you updated on our babies . X

Well who would have thought it !! How lovely to see piggies having a lovely time together and boy is he enjoying it . They build strong bonds with each other and how lovely to see . All animals need a cuddle every now and then as do we . Just enjoy x
This little girl is in season and this is how they are slinking about and being vocal calling for a mate . She is due to be spayed next week then will be ready for a new home . She is such a lovely girl and will be less stressed when she no longer has to put up with this ! Please don't put your cats through this as it ends with kittens . If you think she is the girl for you please get in touch at

The volunteers who look after our piggies have such an affinity with their favourites . The piggies get lots of love and scratches and what a lovely life for them never having to see a vehicle to take them away ! At the moment with the wet weather we have had they are certainly " pigs in mud " but how happy are they . Thank you also for all the photos from our post yesterday . It's amazing to see how friends can come in all shapes , sizes and species . X
A little update on Bobby our racoon . He has certainly improved now after his trip to the vets . He is back to eating properly and was having a little treat just to make sure . He isn't impressed with his new food regime as I am sure he thinks he is wasting away ! We are doing it for his own good but I am sure he doesn't see it that way !! We are so happy to see him back playing and being our Bobby . X
