💙The Perfectly imperfect groom💙 As groomers we can’t make all dogs look like show dogs, sometimes due to their behaviour on the grooming table. Bowie here has issues with touching his face and paws and will bite out of fear but today he relaxed whilst I trimmed his face, I am beyond proud of him 😍 his owners stick to a schedule and have stuck with me to allow Bowie an opportunity to build trust and have the familiarity of always seeing the same person at the same place this is so important for your dogs that are fearful of grooming.

MEET THE GANG... So we have a new addition, I’d like you all to meet Pancake 🥞

Pancake is roughly 4 months old & has settled in lovely with the rest of the gang 😘. Pancake was given to us by a friend, as I’ve said before I don’t buy our animals. Pippin, Potter & Boss were all given to us, they cost enough right? 😂. She is a beautiful moggie cat 🐈

Pancake is a very loving cat, she can always be found cwtched up under the blanket by me 😍. She is very playful and enjoys winding her cat siblings up 😂 Potter especially 🤦🏼‍♀️. She has a healthy appetite & has no shame in pinching her fur siblings food, so we’ve got to keep an eye on her at feeding time 😂. She hasn’t been spayed yet as she is too young. She has a very sensitive stomach so currently we are testing her on different foods to see what works best for her. Who knew something so small could smell so bad 😩😂💨 She’s had her vaccinations & did very well with her first vet visits. She’s had an infection in her eye so has needed antibiotic eye drops but otherwise she is healthy 😘 (touch wood).

Cats are self-grooming & if you have more than one cat like us, they can mutual groom each other also. Potter loves grooming Pancake & they have a lovely bond ☺️. Pancake’s coat is short & I don’t think she will be very fluffy so will be low maintenance.
Although she makes sure to keep herself looking smart we do brush her to help remove dirt, grease & loose fur to prevent fur balls. We also like to give the cats VETiq Healthy Bites Hairball Remedy treats also. We trim her nails when they need doing, roughly every 10 weeks, my 11 year old daughter can hold her while I do this as she is a very good girl. As she gets older she may need more support to help keep up with her grooming, the same as her cat siblings. 🐱‍👤

A much needed spring deshed was had for this beautiful husky Meika today 💜 Cuddles with Sasha whilst being dried were important for Meika she was a little nervous of the drier.

Home visit for Rico’s first nail trim at 12 years old, as he’s got older with less movement his nails haven’t naturally filed. He’s a handsome well behaved gentleman 🐶🥰 Look at that tongue 😂

Although I still have room for improvement, I’m chuffed at the improvement from her previous groom ✂️ Woody is an older dog who has limited tolerance.

The only person you need to be better than is the one you were yesterday 🥰👊🏻

After shadowing the lovely Finola at Doghouse Grooming today, I’m looking to put into practise what I’ve learnt 😊 I’m offering the chance to have a Full Groom at a one-off reduced cost of £25

Miniature Poodle/Poodle Cross as this is the type of coat/groom I’m trying to perfect atm 🤩

Only have the capacity for small or medium sized 🐕 😊, nothing against the standard poodle or larger poodle cross, just I’ll be working from home while I get sorted 😊
