It's Nellie's 6th birthday today! Happy birthday to my absolute best girl!

How lucky we are to spend it with her 🥹

I realized that if you work out the doggie years, Nellie and I are now about the same age. Which is nice.

I'm not sure why her head is so flat in the picture though, or where her ears have gone 🤣🤣

After offering this beautiful reindeer print in my stories it's now more or less sold out 😱 Once existing orders are cut I might be able to make one more sweater, but I'm not sure yet!

I know some of you have been eagerly waiting so I wanted to let you know that our rainbow dinosaur sweaters are now live in our Etsy shop.

They have rainbow spikes and bands as standard or any colour combination you can think of. Custom colour requests are encouraged. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

As with all our sweaters, they are made from high quality 95% cotton sweater fabric. Designed for sighthounds with custom length available.

Here's a close up of our Penguin Party sweater, which I think is my favorite of this drop. I absolutely love the mismatch orange, yellow and red cuffs, and the joyful stripey neckband. It is not your traditional Christmas jumper, it's a lot more fun with a very cool icey vibe about it. Plus penguins in bow ties and party hats, who could resist!🐧🥳

As always this is available in 11 sizes for sighthounds. Handmade to order by me, Verity, with lots of care!

Happy Tuesday my lovelies! Hope your week is coming along nicely.

I returned to the studio yesterday after a week off with the children. I love the flexibility that having my own business brings and being able to take time off in school holidays is a real blessing... However, I have to admit, I do enjoy the sound of peace and quiet when they go back to school 🙈 And for me it's always such a joy to spend the day sewing!!

Today I'm sharing with you a close up of our new Hygge Hound Sweater. Swipe through to see a video.

Hygge, pronounced "hooga" is a Danish and Norwegian word, which is quite difficult to define. It's more of a mood or feeling of content and coziness in the simple things in life.

Our Hygge sweater features a quirky teal and rust skandi design with a black body and burnt orange trim. It's quirky and elegant, and looks like a warm cosiness, hence the name, Hygge Hound.

We were so lucky on photo shoot day! The sun was shining, we found some nice trees and I had a pocket full of snacks for my best girl! Nellie was brilliant as usual even though we were bustled by a good number of off-lead dogs 🤦🏼‍♀️

Just wanted to give you a proper run down on each of our new winter threads over the next week or so, to help you make up your mind!

This sweater is called Happy Howlidays (see what I did there lol 🙄). It's a returning redesigned sweater from last Christmas. It has a slightly thicker feel than some of our usual sweaters as its made with a brushed back french terry so it's slightly fuzzy in the inside. We've also added a fluffy ice blue cotton fleece to the neckband for extra cosiness. The fleece is 100% cotton so much more eco friendly than your usual polyesters ♻️

As with all our sweaters this is available in 11 sizes for sighthounds. All made to order, by me, Verity, in my teeny studio in South Wales. Custom length available, so will fit greyhounds, whippets, galgos, podencos, lurchers, salukis and everyone in between.

I know it's only November but I just had to share this fabulous pic from our friend .beans_adventures

I asked if anyone could help with a few pics of our new bandanas and was blown away by the offers. I wanted to send a free bandana to everyone but my husband said that would not make good business sense 😂😂

Lola did a fantastic job. Even a Christmas tree. In October.

Our bandanas are available in two sizes: greyhound or whippet. Of course they will fit lots of other dogs too. The tie is generous so fits even the largest dog necks, or you can roll the bandana up if needed to fit a smaller hound.

Winter drop is live!! 🌲🥳❄️

As requested by you, our lovely friends and customers... This year we've leant towards "wintery" and "seasonal" rather than full-on "Christmas".

Your hound will look fabulously festive in their new sweater in front of your Christmas tree. And equally wonderful in the very same sweater in January and beyond. It's more sustainable, better value and an all round win win!

Happy Halloween Folks! This is as spooky as we get 😂🦇🕷️🕸️

We're not wild on Halloween here at BF HQ but the children are home from school for half term so we had a nice day carving some pumpkins which we grew in the garden, baking cakes (not spooky at all!), and we had sausage fingers with blood (tomato) sauce and bat shaped pasta for tea!

While I'm here I really want to say thank you so much to all you brilliant people and your hounds that have supported Bonnie Foxes this autumn. It's my first proper autumn doing make to order, so I was really nervous about how things would pan out. But it's been wonderful. I've been busy, and I just can't thank you enough for the support. For every like, share, comment, funny message, Etsy review, and of course purchase. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, it means the absolute world. It means I can keep doing this crazy thing that I love, bringing you beautiful and fun clothes to keep your hounds warm. And I can also be there to collect my children from school and I don't have to go back to the corporate stress ❤️

On the horizon (tomorrow!!) we have our winter drop 🥳🥳 There'll be some exciting new seasonal sweaters and bandanas ❄️🐧 Then next week we will be releasing the dinosaur 🦖 Watch this space ❤️

They're made from french terry, which is the sort of fabric you expect from a shop-bought sweater. The Crochet Jacket Thanks Udon, for some exceptional modelling skills 🌈 I was so happy to see this marvellous jacket off to its new home! It was a joy to make (even if it did take all my brain power to balance all those colours!). I made it slightly longer on request, by adding some grey scale edging, so that it would be the perfect Udon size.
