There are three body colours to choose from:
Wine red
Bottle green
Bright orange

And then choose from 12 colours for the 95% cotton trim.

Available with legs like a jumper or without legs like a tankie.

Stocks are slightly limited on this first run as I can only buy in a limited amount of fleece in one go, but as long as stocks last with my supplier then my plan is to keep restocking as long as people keep buying them!

One more day until Fleece Day 🤩

These are a few samples of our new sighthound fleeces.

There are three base body colours:
Bottle Green
Wine Red
Bright Orange

Then the trim colour is really up to you. There are lots of colour choices and also rainbow or leopard print. You will be able to check out all the options on Etsy when they go live on Thursday.

And the best bit... The fleece is made from 100% recycled polyester ♻️

Our recycled sighthound fleeces will be available in a choice of three body colours:

Bright Orange
Bottle green
Wine red

The neckband outer and cuffs will be made in 95% cotton fabric in a colour of your choice. There are 12 trim colours to choose from!

I started making hound sweaters almost 3 years ago when my girl, Nellie, came to us from the Greyhound Trust.

Nellie hates the cold so loves a warm jumper and is queen of layers!

Since then I set up a little business so I can share my houndie jumpers with you too. I'd love to help you keep your hounds warm in these chilly temperatures.

RECYCLED FLEECES ♻️

Release date Thursday 16th Jan!

I feel like the Bonnie Foxes fleeces have been a really long time coming! It's taken a lot of thought and research behind the scenes. I know how much people love fleece and how useful it is for warmth and I've even had folks approach me to ask to make them a fleece! But I really worry about the environmental cost. So for my own conscience, I was only prepared to make fleeces if they were made from either natural fibres or recycled polyester.

After some research I found that natural fibre fleece, like cotton or bamboo, does not make a particularly useful dog jumper as they absorb water (not good in the wet British weather)! So the most suitable for the purpose is recycled polyester fleece. And it blew my mind to find that actually recycled polyester fleece is not easy to source!

After some searching, I've been able to source a limited range of plain colour recycled polar fleece. And in a few weeks I also have two prints arriving. To make the plain fleece a bit more fun and Bonnie Foxe-ish, I've designed them with a choice of different trim colours. You could also choose rainbow or leopard print trim if you prefer!

This pic shows Nellie in an orange fleece body with khaki trim. And I think she looks smashing!

A peak at the other colour options will follow in the coming days. And I'll unveil the prints once the fabric arrives.

What a brilliant week of makes! So many highlights! There's the matchy pink floral, a purple checker extravaganza, party penguins, custom green spots, leopard print, rainbow stripes 😍

It was fab to be back in the studio after a few weeks off over Christmas, and so great to have a list of orders to work through. I'm also working in the background on our new recycled fleeces. They're nearly ready for release, so watch for some sneak peaks in the coming days.

Resolution for 2025: Learn to look less awkward in photos!

Thanks for your patience with the shop being closed for a few weeks. I was a lot more tired than I realised so it was very much needed! I hope everyone had a peaceful Christmas. I find this a very difficult time of year, mainly because of the darkness and the reflective nature of the year-end. But lighter days are ahead, so let's keep going 🧡

I didn't stop work completely. I've been pottering a little behind the scenes, cutting scrunchies and headbands, restocking fabrics, and planning our new fleeces!

Over the coming weeks we'll be releasing a new range of sighthound eco fleeces. I'll tell you all about these very soon. Im also planning a huge restock of zero waste scrunchies, with lots of new prints and colours, and the return of some favourites. So watch this space.

Anyone know what day it is?

No, us neither!

I'm really looking forward to reopening for orders now. We'll back online in the morning on Wednesday 1st Jan. And I'll be back in the studio to start making on 7th Jan. All pre-Christmas orders were cleared, so we are starting from zero queue 🙌🏼

I know a few of you are waiting to order, so just wanted to say thank you! I massively appreciate your patience and that you've chosen to wait.
