Housty Kennels We are a family-run, professional, kennels, specialising in top quality working dogs since 1980. We also offer dog training, and a Boarding Service.

We are a family run business who specialise in breeding top quality working gun dogs since 1980. We breed English Springer Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Labradors Retrievers, and Golden Retrievers. All our dogs have excellent temperaments and are healthy and well socialised so are perfect for breeding, working and pets. All are veterinary checked at regular intervals. Puppies, young adults, and train

ed gundogs are usually available for sale and our team offer training to your own specific requirements in ideal surroundings. We also provide a boarding service in our custom built kennels for your convenience. Our team work hard to maintain customer satisfaction and offer ongoing help and advice with all our dogs. People ask us all the time if we find it difficult to say goodbye to the pups. Whilst we do miss pups when they go to their new families, the hardest thing of all is when we sell an older dog to a new home. Most of the time, these dogs have been born here, raised here, trained here and we have spent every single day with them, rain or shine.
Chris had run Tweed in 2 trials, achieving second place in one of them, but growing disillusioned with competing, he made the difficult decision to sell Tweed to a friend of ours in Scotland. Whilst saying goodbye to the older dogs is a part of the job, moving Tweed on was a decision Chris always regretted. Recently however, we were presented with the opportunity to bring Tweed home. Following Jack's premature passing earlier in the year, it felt like fate to bring his son back to Wales where he will now be forever. Thank you Dave and Linda for letting us have Tweed back, it means the world to us.

Incredibly sad day here at Housty. FTCH Tailorsdrift Shadowland, our Jacky Boy, went to sleep after a short illness with lymphoma. Truly the dog of a lifetime, who was able to reach the very top of his sport and achieve 4th place in the British Spaniel Championships. We'll never own another like him, the best, kindest, most loving best friend you could hope for. Sleep tight boy😭😭😭
