A shire with canker treated at the vets recently. Canker is described as an infectious process that results in the development of a chronic hypertrophy of the horn-producing tissues, more commonly seen in heavy breeds. After debridement of the affected area the owner then treated topically everyday. Recovery is greatly improved with correct management and regular checks to prevent and manage reoccurrence.

Please can I remind everyone invoices are not a buy now pay later arrangment, when you receive one it should be payed within a reasonable amount of time not weeks or months. A crack repairs progress after 30 weeks
(5 shoeings at 6 week intervals). Using a glue and Kevlar patch originally, along with most importantly addressing foot balance. This one has grown out pretty well.
