Earlier this month I got the pleasure of looking after Hector for a week - a Beddlington X Poodle. He is an incredibly gentle and calm dog who clearly adores his long walks 🥰 Hectors pawrents are national trust members which meant him and I got to enjoy some stunning walks along Pennard (Gower coastline). How could I forget to post Eddie! I recently got to spend a week with Eddie, who has such a strong personality ☺️ We had some great walks together and he even helped me whilst I was working 💻 It was a joy being able to let him off lead to run around, since he has such good recall! I’ve been so busy with pet sits I haven’t had a chance to post! Here are the lovely pets I looked after a couple weeks back (during the heatwave) I spent the week with these 2 lovely sausage dogs, 3 chickens and even 2 tortoises (they’re rather self sufficient, bar feeding them all my mothers spare lettuce from her overgrown veg patch 😅). Tiggy and Amber were a lovely pair of dogs, Amber on the older side and Tiggy still very much a pup. We spent lots and lots of time in the garden and had plenty of cuddles on the sofa in the evening 🥰 It was a pleasure looking after this gang! 🐾💕

I recently got back from a dog sit with this little lady, Bella, a gorgeous patter-dale terrier . We had a lovely week together with lots of walkies, playtime and plenty of cuddles on the sofa. Thank you for trusting me with her Laura Jane Giampa 💕

Just had to share a video of speedy Maud, her recall was amazing and she just loved running around, without ever losing energy!! 🐕‍🦺🦮
(Ted is much older so he happily trots along next to me and occasionally gets to sit under my arm for a break over the longer grass 🥰)

So sad my week with these two is over! Maud is a very energetic working spaniel who absolutely loved running around the fields on our walks, but also loved cuddles on the sofa. Ted is a mixed terrier who adores playing fetch with his tennis ball and also loves a cuddle on the sofa. I’ve looked after these two for the odd day before but it was a pleasure spending a whole week with them! Thanks for trusting me with them Marcus Randall 🐾

This was a sit I did back in Easter, lovely Hazel (lab) and Opal (smaller golden) who were kind enough welcome to my family dog Monty! (much bigger golden😅). Opal is a 16 year old retired guide dog with a gorgeous personality and Hazel is a 6 year old pup who I think keeps her older sister young 🥰. Monty and Hazel are the same age so they went on lovely long walks together whilst Opal took some nice slow 20-30min walks with me. I look forward to hopefully looking after them again later this year 💞

Whilst I’m on my current sit with these two… just a reminder that I only do pet sitting (in your home) NOT dog boarding (in my own home). I’ve had a lot of requests for it recently however it’s not something that is possible for me to offer and it requires completely different insurance and a license. However I do also offer dog walking and drop-in sits 🙂

I had the joy of looking after these two boys again recently. We had almost a whole week of playing in the sunshine and even got the hose out for Milo to chase after! A more ‘adventurous’ sit that I did recently was for these lovely animals - two rabbits, one crested gecko and two snakes! This was actually a drop-in that I did for 4 days over easter, going over each day making sure the rabbits and gecko were fed etc, and misted water inside the snakes ‘homes’. The snakes were quite shy but one of them did like to pop her head out and say hello when I was there which was nice to see ☺️ I also enjoyed leaving toys out for the rabbits and watching them get the treats out! Overall a really great experience and look forward to hopefully seeing them again! - thank you Marie Timms for trusting me with your pets 💕

A reminder:
1. I do pet sitting (in your own home) NOT boarding (in my home). + drop ins and dog walks. I have experience with a range of animals but primarily sit for cats, dogs & rabbits 🐾
2. I often don’t post on here, either because of privacy reasons or I simply don’t have the time so please bare in mind this is only a small number of the sits I’ve done.
3. I ‘float around’ between Swansea/Llanelli and Oxfordshire, so I only cover those areas over certain times of the year. I also cover parts of Warwickshire and Gloucestershire.
4. My prices do vary due to several factors such as, the needs of the pets, how many pets, and distance (fuel). So when asking me for a price please be prepared to inform me as much as you can before I give a quote. However, my price range tends to be between £25-35 per day/night. (I also take a small deposit to secure new bookings as this is my only income)
5. I am currently making my way through a pet sitting course which dives into first aid and animal behaviours! This way I can have as much knowledge in the area as possible 🙂
6. I am happy to show proof of insurance if you ask for it, but for reference I’m insured with ‘Protectivity’ 🐾 I am also dbs checked!
7. I will always love your animals as if they were my own!! And I am grateful to all who trust me with your furry (or not so furry) friends 🥰

This is now becoming one of my regular dog sits - Milo (Spaniel) and Buster (Chichon). They are both such lovely dogs with big personalities. Milo absolutely loves a cuddle on the sofa in the evenings whilst Buster curls up in bed after a nice walk. They have a big basket of toys which they dig into throughout the day and we often play fetch in the garden. I’m looking forward to doing a nice long sit with them in May now! ❤️
