Ok so this is the last easy week, from next week on its flat out up to Christmas. I will be trying to stay on schedule. December is totally full. But I have a waiting list. So from November onwards. Please let me know ASAP if you are unable to keep your appointment. That way someone else can have their pup groomed. Also during November. If your appointment is in the afternoon. Make sure the harness/collar you hand the pooch over with fits well, dont want to loose any dogs due to fireworks going off.

Please do not let your dog wander through fields where foxtails and other barbed grass seeds are present.

The grass seeds contained in the head of these plants are designed by nature to burrow into the ground. Unfortunately, these grass seeds can and do burrow into your dog's skin and open body orifices and then continue to burrow causing a lot of potential trauma in your dog's body.

The x-ray on the left is of a foxtail tract that was injected with contrast medium to show just how far a foxtail can travel.

The lesion between the toes of the foot on the bottom right is how these tracts will look to the naked eye. This is a great example of just how far foxtails can migrate in tissues.

It would appear there is a scam hitting the grooming industry, clients being contacted allegedly by the grooming business, informing them that a deposit is required prior to their appointment.
Personally I have NEVER asked for a deposit and have no intention of doing so, should you receive a message asking for a deposit please contact me in person first. Many thanks

Polite notice, I am very sorry but I am unable to take new clients at the moment,

Existing clients please note prices for grooms have gone up since January, dont let me leave without booking your next appointment at the end of your current one to avoid delays, dont trust me to send an appointment when i get home, im getting old and need reminding 🤣
, April is filling fast I have no appointments before the 8th. May is also filling fast, but I will open up the odd Saturday if needed.
