Paired with โ€˜The Name Gameโ€™ and โ€˜Proximity Trainingโ€™ (coming soon!) this builds a focus around being close to the owner. Practice in the home first then start adding distractions before taking these games out on a walk with you! โ€ข Toss food away from you โ€ข As soon as the dog turns back to you - click andโ€ฆ โ€ข Toss food again โ€ข Repeat Remember; โ€ข Toss food in different directions โ€ข Do not nag or coax. He will learn better if you let him figure it out for himself rather than making it easier for him. Be patient!! โ€ข If he is having trouble work in a smaller space and remove distractions. You can also use higher value treats โ€ข Add in distractions when he is an expert at this game โ€ข Throw food towards a distraction โ€ข Start with small distractions and build up In partnership with KT Dog Training
