*Notice for past customers*

Any dogs who have not been for a groom for 8 months are being taken off my books. I work part time & am very limited for space. If your dog has not been for a groom in this time please reach out otherwise they won't be garenteed to be groomed in the future unless space becomes available

Proud of this girl! Last time she was highly scared of the dryer near her ears & very nervous with front feet. Today we got 1 ear mostly dry & better cut on her legs. Small steps are huge steps in my eyes very proud of her

Time to show grooms that don't go to plan.
Not alot of groomers show this side of grooming but I can very transparent with how I work.
Arnie is around 10 months old. I got advised he was wriggley as expected for his age.
He needed a pre clip as matted were pelted to his skin, the matts in areas were filled with dirt so he had a wash, when starting drying he started to bite. Unfortunately he couldn't be dried due to being reactive. He was sent home incomplete due to stress levels/bite risks.
A plan will be offered to help him and work on all his areas he struggles so this situation doesn't happen again. Last photo is how he was on arrival (to most he wouldn't look matted)

Please be mindful today with the hot weather.

I've contacted yesterday & today all customer in regards to all appointments. I am happy to re arrange if needed or go ahead with appointments as long as each dog individually is assessed.
I have full air conditioning the groom room stays at a very comfortable temperature.

Please be mindful of warning signs of heat stroke in dogs. Avoid walks during the day keep it to early morning or late evening. If in doubt a dog will be absolutely fine missing a walk for a day.

This beautiful girl unfortunately was very matted across the majority of her body minus her back/belly. Best thing for her tail was to take it off and let it re grow. The matts were quite thick but I'm so impressed at how well she did with a few breaks. She was very interested by her second tail🥰

Matted fur This video is sped up to cut 10mins into a just over minute clip. Matted fur takes more time & patience to clip off, here's a video of myself working on one ear to clip thick matted fur off. Of course there was lots of praise for him being such a good boy! Matting fees are in place as its alot more wear on blades/scissors plus the time factor. All dogs who come in will have free rein to get down from the table if at any point they become stressed. I focus on their consent and watching for if they are ok or not.
