Reggie the Boston Terrier and Digger the patterdale x were fantastic for their maintenance massages over the weekend.
Reggie suffers with a bad shoulder but due to overcompensation, this is now affecting his hind legs and his overall comfort levels.
Digger suffers with a sore back due to his high activity levels and general shenanigans!

Was lovely to see Bow the for his second session yesterday.
Bow’s owner noticed that he has a sensitive back and even the lightest touch caused him to react. He’s been suffering with this for a year and a half (after a dog crashed in to him!) and unfortunately even with in-depth veterinary investigation, they couldn’t find what the problem was.

He was suffering with myofascial pain and was riddled with trigger points. It was fantastic to see the improvement after just one treatment and can’t wait to see how he feels next week!

Was lovely to see Marley for his regular maintenance session to help with his Arthritis… the trust that’s building between us is wonderful, able to work on more and more each session.
Seeing how dedicated his owner is to giving Marley the best quality of live is truly incredible and being able to work with other therapists to get him back to top notch health is fab. His regular Hydrotherapy at Woozelbears Hydrotherapy, Grooming and Spa has done wonders for building up his muscle that he’d lost… he’s a different dog to when I first met him!

Robbie the terrier looking absolutely blissed out during his treatment.
Robbie has cruciate issues as well as strains (tear to a muscle) and lots of over-compensation issues. His owner was worried that he wouldn’t settle as he’s a hyperactive terrier who isn’t a fan of the vets. Instead, he absolutely melted and we got an amazing amount of work done with him, looking forward to seeing him for his next session!

We’ve had the MOST INCREDIBLE day at Aldbourn doggy day and classic car show. Thank you to everyone who came to see me (and Tucker), and thank you for being patient as I know at times I was rather busy and you had to wait!

My own girl Ruby has started her Hydrotherapy to help her along side massage and her physiotherapy treatment. Ruby has Degenerative Joint Disease in her left hip and also spinal issues (but it’s the hip that’s causing the main problem). The Hydrotherapy is helping to build up the muscle that she’s lost on her left hind and the massage is working along side to work on all the areas of over compensation! Working on getting that b***y back in shape and having a happy pain free dog!

Safe to say that Reggie the loved his first treatment on Saturday.
Reggie is 5yrs old and has been suffering the past few weeks with a shoulder injury. After extensive investigation done by the vets, he is now undergoing massage therapy to get him back to full health.

Hi, my name is Beth and I run Top Notch Clinical Canine Massage. Growing up on a farm, I’ve been animal mad from the very beginning. In college I chose to do both animal and equine management.

I then went to work with horses for several years before going back to working on the family farm. It was in this time I chose what I wanted to do with my life. I set up Top Notch Pet Services whilst I was also completing my 2 year course with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre. My dogs have been my inspiration. Henry the yellow Labrador, Ruby the Rhodesian Ridgeback and Tucker the German Wirehaired Pointer.

I am now a proud member of the Canine Massage Guild. I have completed over 1200 hours of learning. I use the 4 disciplines of massage - Swedish massage, sports massage, deep tissue massage and myofascial release. I also use the clinically trialed Lenton Method which is a set of myofascial releases. 95% of dogs responded positively to Clinical Canine Massage Therapy in the clinical trials with Wi******er University.
