Here are four reasons why doing stretches are beneficial for horses:

1. Improves Flexibility and Range of Motion
Carrot stretches encourage horses to move their neck, shoulders, and spine in ways that improve flexibility. This helps maintain a greater range of motion, which is essential for performance and overall mobility.

2. Strengthens Core Muscles
These stretches engage the horse’s core muscles, including the abdominal and back muscles. A strong core helps stabilize the horse’s spine and improves balance, posture, and strength.

As a mark of respect to recognise the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our stores will be closed on Monday 19th September. ​Our home delivery and customer care service will also be suspended on the day to allow our colleagues to pay their respects.
