Animal Vantics Mobile Dog Grooming

Morning you gorgeous lot it seems ( for a few days anyway) that it’s going to be hot hot hot so it’s time that we need to think about the welfare verses grooming of our precious pooches . Below I’ve posted a pic of the outside temperatures where it is dangerous for the woofs to be walked etc but that coupled with being in my tin can with hair dryers etc on can increase the danger to them even more . I’m therefore asking you to consider (whether in the hot conditions we are supposed to be experiencing )if it really is necessary to have ur dog groomed or if it woukd wait another couple weeks . You all know how much you and ur dogs mean to me and I would never forgive myself if ur dog ended up with heat stroke just for vanity purposes .
If you feel it’s too hot for ur fur baby to be groomed please message me and we can rebook when the weather gets back to a better temp .
All of this said if I feel it’s too hot I will ask you to rebook in the interest of your dogs welfare but you all know ur dogs better than me so if you think it’s gonna be too hot please message me .

Morning you gorgeous lot !!
Just a reminder to keep a look out for fleas and tics ( tics especially ) . With the very wet weather we have had and now with the weather ( hopefully ) getting better it’s perfect conditions for the horrible little critters and it has been predicted that it’s going to be a bumper year for them . My personal advice would be (and only my thoughts)

Keep the coat as short as possible to be able to check for tics with ease

Keep away as much as possible from long grass

Use appropriate precautions . It has been said that if you spray your dog with an apple cider vinegar and water mix ( avoiding eyes and any abrasions of course ) before going out it repels tics and fleas

Purchase a tic remover just in case ( give me a shout if you don’t know how to use one )

Remember to check urself for tics as well as they aren’t fussy who they attach themselves to

Cover ur legs up if taking woodland walks

No running water in my van despite 2x2 kw heaters running front and back all night and still running . Having a key meter I can see how much it’s cost ,15 bloody quid so far and I still can’t work to redeem it back 2024 not being kind to me so far 🙈

We are nearly there ! The start of a new year , let’s hope that we have a great one with us all having a happy healthy time . I look forward to seeing you all and of course the woofs in 2024 . It goes without saying that I appreciate each and everyone of you , not only are you my clients but I class you all as friends as well and I hope you know that I will always be there for you as I know you are for me .

My wonderful animal Vantics family !!
Well where do I start in saying goodbye to 2023?
I don’t think I’ve ever had such a tough time health wise especially whilst trying to run my own business and trying to keep my head above water . It’s been really tough I have to say .
Anyone that knows me knows that I am a workaholic only happy when I’m fulfilling my commitment to those that have requested my services . The first part of 2023 went well but the last bit wow!! Has that thrown me some challenges !
I can only appologise to those that I have let down and have been forced to find an alternative places to have their dog groomed believe me if I could have fulfilled my commitment to you I would have but shear pain at times has left me unable to get to you and I cannot tell you how sorry I am .
Hopefully 2024 will prove to be less traumatic .

All of this said I cannot thank those that have stuck by me enough , without you my business I’m sure would have taken a turn for the worse and quite possibly I would not be trading now .
Thanku to those that have changed apps wen asked

Offered help
And most of all understood

To those lovely clients that have had no other choice but to take their beloved pet elsewhere absolutely no hard feelings you have done what was needed for fur baby tho I will miss you I understand . X

It just leaves me to say a massive massive thankyou for the gifts that I have received in whatever form I cannot tell you how grateful I am , how loved and appreciated I feel and what a boost it has been to to my mental state . it really is lovely to know that with all that’s going on in the economy etc a thought has been given to the dogs mate too ❤️

To my wonderful wonderful friends , thanku all so so much for ur kind words in relation to the passing of our precious boy spud , just grateful that he passed at home with our other dogs , Nick and myself with him . To have a part of ur life taken away from you after 14 years is a massive blow and leaves a huge hole but there is one thing I can say and that is that there doesn’t seem to have been any pain and it was a peaceful passing although a massive shock as yesterday everything seemed normal eating ,drinking and barking as he always did x

Back at the docs , finally got a referral to the hospital tho been told it will take a long while , different pain killers and physio next Thursday is it ever gonna end ???🙈🙈 trying my utmost to get to as many as I can thanku to those sticking by me so appreciated xx

Hi guys just to say I’m trying my hardest to get to those that I had to cancel due to my sciatic pain . I am still struggling with chronic pain but have been given pain killers that are masking it a bit . If any of you feel that ur woof is in desperate need and decide to book him/her in somewhere else can I ask that you just let me know please . It’s due to me that ur dog hasn’t had the attention that it needs and for that I am truly truly sorry , their welfare is the most important thing so totally understand if u go elsewhere . If tho you decide to take them elsewhere as a one off also please let me know so that I can book them in for their next groom .

Had to go back to the docs today woke up in serious pain they’ve given me stronger pain killers !!! Said if it hasn’t sorted itself out in 6 weeks they will refer me for an mri scan to see wats going on 😵‍💫
As long as the pain killers are still working in the morning🤞I’m back at it and will start getting those that I cancelled and that are still with me rebooked .
I cannot tell you how sorry I am for having to cancel those that I have and totally understand if they are thinking of going elsewhere x
